We are proud to see Grace, a resident whose wish was fulfilled through Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie, featured in Zoomer Magazine.

At 88 years old, Grace, an accomplished pilot from Edmonton, returned to the cockpit for the first time in more than 50 years. With a flight instructor by her side, she proved to herself that her skills and spirit were still strong, successfully landing a small aircraft.

Grace’s story is a testament to resilience, passion, and the belief that adventure has no age limit. We are thrilled to celebrate this national recognition of her incredible achievement.

✨🛍️ Our wonderful residents from Empress had an exciting and fun day out at Almonte ❤️! We started with some shopping 🛒 and exploring local stores 🏬, followed by sightseeing 🌸. For some, it was their very first time—and the smiles said it all! 💖

Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious Italian lunch at Joey’s 🍝🍕🥗—the food was absolutely amazing and everyone had the best time together. 🥰🍷

What a joyful day filled with laughter, good food, and wonderful memories! 🌞💐❤️

What an amazing BBQ we had with our wonderful residents today 💕👵👴! We grilled up all their favorites – juicy hamburgers 🍔, classic hotdogs 🌭, all the fixings 🥗🥒🍅, refreshing sodas 🥤, and of course a sweet touch of Canadian butter tarts 🧈🥧🇨🇦.

The laughter, the sunshine on the patio 🌞🌿, and the joy of sharing these moments together made it truly special 💖✨. Our residents had an absolute blast, and so did we! 🎉🙌

🍓✨ Strawberry Social Sweetness! ✨🍓

On July 9th, we turned our bistro into a berry wonderland for our Strawberry Social — and it was absolutely delightful! ❤️🍰 Residents sipped sparkling water with fresh strawberry slices and refreshing strawberry lemonade, enjoyed chocolate-covered strawberries, fluffy cupcakes, and strawberries with whipped cream — pure summer bliss! 🍓🍫🧁

The bistro was dressed up in vibrant red and strawberry-themed decor, and with the music playing and laughter all around, it truly felt like a strawberry paradise. 🎶🍓🌟

Seeing everyone smiling, socializing, and celebrating together made it an unforgettable day. We can’t wait to do it again! 🥰✨
