We may in Ottawa, but the Jays pride is strong at Stonehaven! Residents and staff alike were in the spirit today getting ready to cheer on the boys in blue tonight in the World Series!!

The days are getting cooler, the nights are getting longer. It's closer to that time of year when we tend to stay indoors a bit more...
What if we told you that instead of bundling up to go outside and meet a friend, you could simply head down the hallway to spend time together?
What if you didn't have to worry about shoveling your walkway to get out to exercise, and you could just come to the gym downstairs to keep yourself active?
And not only could you forget about going out in the cold for groceries, you would even get hearty and delicious meals prepared for you?

Happy Thanksgiving from Venvi Stonehaven!
As we pause to give thanks this weekend, many of our residents have been hanging their grateful thoughts on our Giving Thanks tree. Many of the happy thoughts revolve around being thankful for family, being surrounded by wonderful friends and a beautiful card talking about how blessed we are to live in the best country in the world!!
However you are celebrating this long weekend, we wish you a blessed and peaceful Thanksgiving from the Stonehaven Family! 🦃🍁🙏🧡

Happy Oktoberfest!! We observed National Seniors Day with a traditional Oktoberfest celebration!
Beer tasting, sausages with sauerkraut, pretzels, topped off with an afternoon of entertainment by the band Just Us! Seeing our residents dressed up and dancing along always shows us what a great time everyone is having! PROST!! 🍻

What's better than making homemade bread and pasta before sharing a yummy meal with friends? Only if you do it with Stonehaven's own Culinary Manager, Lynn!

Lynn has been part of the Stonehaven Family for 17 years and one of her favorite parts of her job is spending one on one time with the residents, learning their preferences and incorporating these into our regular menu. Just for fun, she comes up with a delicious meals to make with residents who feel like rolling up their sleeves and they all enjoy the fruits of their labour together.

Now that's a real Taste of Stonehaven!! Bon appetit!! 🤤

We had the most wonderful time at the 3rd Annual Quilt Walk hosted by Mad About Patchwork! 🌿🧵
The 0.6 km loop through the woods was like stepping into a living art gallery — over 200 stunning quilts hung among the trees, each one more breathtaking than the last. From bold modern designs to timeless traditional patterns, it was a true celebration of creativity and community.
Our residents loved every minute of it — fresh air, vibrant colors, and the beauty of handmade art all around us. 💜
And to top off a perfect outing, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch next door at Chuck’s! Great food, great company — what more could we ask for?
Thank you to everyone who made this day so special!

Stonehaven is in FULL BLOOM! Our beautiful home becomes more spectacular every year once our gorgeous gardens start to fill out. Our residents have lots to enjoy within our many green spaces, including outdoor patios, walking paths and our centerpiece courtyard.
Whether enjoying lemonade with a friend, or hosting a family gathering in the courtyard, our community proudly gets to enjoy a little slice of StoneHEAVEN during the dog days of summer!

HAPPY CANADA DAY 🇨🇦 from the Stonehaven Crew! We welcomed residents and their guests to our annual Canada Day BBQ. Delicious food, lots of community and fellowship as we celebrate our great country! Many of our residents even enjoyed getting tattoos for the first time! Later today, everyone will be entertained by our good friend Derek Jones. ELBOWS UP Eh!
