Feeling pain along your shinbone? You might be dealing with shin splints—common in runners, dancers, and athletes! Caused by stress on the shinbone and connective tissues, these can worsen with overtraining.
💡 Symptoms to Watch For:
• Tenderness, soreness, or pain along the inner shin
• Mild swelling in the lower leg
• Pain that may stop with rest but can become ongoing

Stretch your way to pain-free feet!
In honor of Foot Health Month, here are 3 simple stretches you can do at home to ease plantar fasciitis and keep your feet strong and flexible:

1. Standing Calf Stretch (Gastrocnemius)
Lean into a wall with one foot behind you and your knee straight. Feel that stretch in the upper calf!

2. Soleus Stretch
Same as above, but this time with a bent back knee to target the lower calf (soleus). A deeper, more targeted stretch.

3. Calf Stretch on Step
Stand on a step, drop your heel gently over the edge, and feel that satisfying stretch along the back of your leg.

Bonus: Ankle AROM (Active Range of Motion)
Turn your foot inward (inversion) and outward (eversion) like a windshield wiper — no pain allowed! Great for mobility and injury prevention.

Healthy feet = a healthier you.

May is Foot Health Month 🦶
Your feet carry you through life — let’s take care of them!

Plantar fasciitis is a common foot condition that can seriously affect your daily life, from walking and exercising to sleep and even mental health.

It occurs when the thick band of tissue on the bottom of your foot becomes inflamed, causing sharp heel pain. Left untreated, it can lead to long-term damage to muscles, bones, and ligaments.
