Our second annual boat trip with Catch a Smile - Friends in Sportfishing

A beautiful day spent on the water with a picnic right at dows lake, we could not have asked for a better trip! We even passed our friends

At the end of our beautiful ride we donated the processed from our bake sale and raised over $200 to give to their charity!

We look forward to another incredible boat ride in the future!

Last night we had the incredible tasting experience from one of our main cooks as he brought a taste of home to our residents!

He made Indian food - Chicken Biriyani (with fragrant Basmati Rice) served with Raita (cooling cucumber yogurt sauce) with Carrots
And Vermicelli Milk Pudding for dessert!

It was truly a fun and delicious experience for all of our residents and everyone left wanting more!

Our is a great success with our residents! From fun interactive group games to therapeutic hands on activities it’s amazing to see the smiles it brings!

It was an upbeat afternoon as we had the wonderful Arlene in to entertain us! The room was packed, smiles everywhere and tons of singing had!

With our garden in full bloom brings a fun in house tradition - every year our residents get to pick our hydrangeas and take a few to enjoy in their room! It’s great seeing all the smiles our garden brings!

It was a cherry delight as we baked cherry cobbler and served it outside on the patio! 🍒

With cherries from our own garden and baked with love it was a great turnout!

Canada Day part 2!
Our evening was filled with a sea of red and white Canadian pride with wonderful music and dancing!
We couldn’t have asked for a better night to have fun, make memories and dance the night away!

What a delight for us as this is the first year we have cherries from our cherry tree!
The residents asked our activity manager to pick them and with the help of some staff, family members and residents cheering them on we harvested our first ever massive bowl of cherries!!

Happy Canada Day from everyone at Timberwalk!!
Canada Day part 1!
A little rain would stop us today from our festivities of a great patio BBQ, an insane bingo that totalled a jackpot of over $40, and lots of smiles as we got everyone ready for tonight’s big musical event!
