EXCITING NEWS!!
After taking care of Patients this evening I will be entering my first tennis tournament probably since I was 16 years old!
Some things that I have realized and want to share:
ā
Believe: Anything is possible! (I was in a big car accident almost 20 years ago with quite a few setbacks, but with hard work and a lot of movement, chiropractic care and making exercise a daily part of my lifestyle, helped my recovery)
ā
Play: kids do this very well play that is. As adults, we forget. Play can be in the form of artwork, sport, even just playing tag with your kids. Itās important to play! š¤©
ā
Rest: it is a necessity and highly underrated! Getting a good night sleep is essential. Having rest days if you work out is essential, I learned this the hard way.
ā
Be kind to yourself: give yourself a break! One of the biggest things I learned in playing singles tennis, is the self talk. Your inner voice. When you change your language to kindness and not criticism look what can happen!
ā
youāre never too old to do anything š
Here i am 50 something and
Most of my opponents are at least 20 years younger than me. Age is hust a number!

so before I go out and swing that racket, I will be grateful for each and everyone of you that has always supported me, my practice and lived vicariously through my shenanigans.
Thank you you all have a beautiful day! Any wishes a good luck will be taken to heart š šā¤ļø
Thanks dad for telling me to have more fun!! ā¤ļø
