Located inside the Bell Sensplex, just off of Terry Fox Drive in Kanata, we opened our doors in December of 2011. Owners, Gerry Townend, Ottawa Senators Head Athletic Therapist and NHL superstar Daniel Alfredsson, opened this clinic to offer the same level of services to the public that is offered to NHL players. Catering to all age groups, levels of activity and types of pain, injury or dysfunction, The Sports Medicine Centre offers Athletic Therapy, Physiotherapy, Strength and Conditioning Coaching, Registered Massage Therapy, Registered dietitian,Concussion Testing, Pedorthics, Physiatry, Sports medicine doctors, and medical retail supplies including customized bracing. From preventative maintenance to rehabilitating an injury, we are able to provide it all in one multi-disciplinary location.

The Sports Medicine Centre is opening a second location in Carleton Place - the hometown of our co-owner Gerry Townend. Together with former Ottawa Senators Captain Daniel Alfredsson, we’re excited to expand our care into the heart of the Carleton Place community!
