Committed to your health and well-being, we understand rural pharmacy. Hello, I am your local pharmacist Ward Taylor. In 2012 while travelling around much of the Kootenays as a relief pharmacist I had the opportunity to spend some time in Kaslo. I was hooked and in 2012 purchased Kaslo Drugs. I came because of the amazing surroundings, way of life and sense of community. To that end the name of the store was changed to Kaslo Community Pharmacy and are slowly renovating the inside and outside of the store to match the Heritage Style of the downtown Kaslo business. Looking forward to the future with a vision of a truly community based pharmacy in the original turn of the century apothacary style, yet fullfilling todays needs of an active and healthy life style, focusing on preventative health and wellness. This has brought about a very large and inclusivesection dedicated to balance training and yoga and overall fitness. Our home health care and mobility section enables seniors to maintain a more independant life, as well as stay in the comfort of their own homes longer with such aids as; grab bars, bathlifts etc. We strive to offer the utmost in privacy & confidentiality. Our new pharmacy lay-out features a separate drop off and pick up to eliminate any bottle necks. Our state of the art sound proof counselling room is available to ensure the maximum privacy of our clients.
