When everyone thinks your job is to hold babies...

Yes, that's nice. But what I'm REALLY about is holding the family unit as a whole. 🤍

Laundry piling up? I'm on it. Pile of mismatched socks you've been dreading going through? I'll match them. Too many bottles and not enough time? I'll take care of it.

Sometimes it's not the baby care that's overwhelming for families, it's the mental load that makes things feel like they're drowning.

Today is a hard day for my family, my husband especially.

I've scheduled this post ahead of time to let everyone know that I will not be available this weekend. I appreciate your understanding.

Loss is never easy, and today we celebrate the life of someone we loved very dearly who is no longer with us.

Hug your friends and family members, tell them you love them, today and everyday, because you never know 🤍

Somewhere along the way we started measuring our worth by our productivity, and because of that REST got labeled as LAZY.

But in pregnancy, postpartum, and life in general, rest isn't optional. It's how we recover, it's how we cope, it's how we come back to ourselves. Whatever stage of life you're in, you deserve rest without guilt, without sacrifice, and without explanation.
