Psychological safety is not about sanitizing every space and interaction but rather about cultivating an environment of nonviolence within and together. It is about embracing the discomfort inherent in the messy and ambiguous journey of being human.

Only from this place can we cultivate the openness—both in heart and mind— necessary to develop the resilience to bridge divides and act in the world with the unwavering determination required to uphold our shared, fundamental drive for well-being, regardless of our differences.

This way, we can authentically foster a sense of belonging and prevent ourselves from becoming what we seek to dismantle.

Embarking on this path requires courage to engage in meaningful and challenging conversations. That is why, at InterWoven Human Potential, we are so excited to join Valiente Entrepreneurs and the remarkable group of individuals that Denise Young, from Tigers Eye Advisory Group has brought together.

Come and join us, and let’s create beauty in conversation together!

Do you want to create more inclusive spaces? Do you want to connect with people who aren't "like you". We all have bias, we make snap decisions in 5 seconds based on what someone looks like. This will never go away, HOWEVER it is a choice of how we react to this. We minimize bias' when we connect and surround people who are "different" from us. Join me and 20+ diverse speakers who are Experts in EDI and Communications. At InterWoven, our purpose is empowering organizations to create engaging and collaborative workplaces through social and emotional well-being training. We strongly believe that promoting mental health in the workplace is crucial for the well-being of individuals, organizations, and communities.

We feel 🙌 enthusiastic and grateful 🙌 for this insightful talk from Denis Trottier, KPMG Canada Chief Mental Health Officer, organized by the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and presented by the Okanagan College Business and the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Denis's candor, warmth, and passion left us inspired and committed to working together as a community to foster a meaningful mental health culture in the workplace.

Top 3 tips to take care of your mental health, from Denis Trottier, Chief Mental Health Officer at todays Speaker Series presented by and ICD-Okanagan:

1. Mindset. Accept that we all have mental health to care for.
2. Education. Educate yourself on your warning signs and identify where you are on the continuum.
3. Me time. Take time to care for yourself first.

Thanks to everyone who was able to join us for today's talk on mental health in the workplace and to Denis Trottier for offering tools to help us get more involved in the overall wellness of our teams and ultimately, ourselves.

In today's post-COVID labor market, building workplaces that nurture successful teams where people feel engaged has become more crucial than ever.

With remote work and a burnout epidemic on the rise, fostering collaboration and resilience within organizations has become even more challenging. At InterWoven, we understand these challenges and are committed to providing innovative solutions to help organizations thrive.

We believe cultivating empathy, compassion, and kindness is the key to creating strong and successful teams. That's why we found this insightful article from Hacking HR so inspiring. It outlines nine high-impact outcomes organizations can achieve by fostering these essential traits.

If you're interested in learning more about how we can help you and your organization develop the skills needed to cultivate these traits and become high-performing teams, please visit our website at https://www.weareinterwoven.ca/workplace

👩‍⚕️Healthcare professionals 👨‍⚕️embark on their careers driven by a calling to care for others. They are always available, being there for us when we need them most. Their job presents major challenges, but nothing compares to what they have faced and endured in recent years.

What actions can we take to safeguard the mental well-being of healthcare professionals? This question inspired us to find a way to give back some of the care and compassion they provide us every day.

Join us in this Templeton World Charity Foundation video featurette as we explore how our parent organization, AtentaMente in partnership with the Center for Healthy Minds, is creating a positive impact on the lives of those who look after us.

❤ Let’s get inspired ❤ and bring our program to Canada to care for our Healthcare Professionals!
