***Okanagan Area***
I think it is really sad that some of our kids and Teens are about to be denied events and some sports as of Sept 13th...but I also believe that where there is a will there is a way! If our kids can't always be a part of what they used to or with certain friends we can help them learn new ways to do things....meet new friends and still include all. This is not a page for us to isolate our kids with just new friends but in fact welcome their friends as well. Just because we are being stopped doesn't mean we want to stop others. I am sure we all have kids that either play sports...like hiking or biking...skateboarding or scootering....board games.crafts or even teen scavenger hunts! This page is just a start to gain ideas...build group ideas...meet new people with similar ideas about life ... health and even spiritual thoughts. If you have a great idea or feel you want to be a part of this change please post your ideas. Let's work together and help our kids and teens. I can't do this alone but we need to start somewhere. If you have ideas how we can get an idea of kids ages and interests without it being so public please help. This particular group is in the okangan area from Vernon to Penticton...or however far you are willing to travel when events come up
💛🇨🇦🙂 For example....if my son was going to city park to play basketball or a dog park with the dog..it could be posted so others could join with an approx time. Or if someone has a big backyard and maybe willing to do a random meet up so we can all get to know eachother every so often that would be great too...or even a park.
