The REDress Project was created by Métis artist and activist Jaime Black to raise awareness of the untold number of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQI+ people across Canada.

The hanging of a red dress is an artistic representation of the thousands of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQI+ people. As well as addressing this national crisis, it’s a powerful symbol to acknowledge that theyre still here in spirit and will never be forgotten.

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our award-winning Pharmacy. This position suits pharmacists who like working in a fast-paced setting with Pharmacy Tech coverage during prime hours and always 1-2 assistants supporting. In addition to common Community Pharmacy services and prescriptions, candidates must be willing to work with an at-risk population, and open to outreach and occasional OAT delivery. Shifts and hours are negotiable, and full-time hours could be available to those open to additional hours at our sister Pharmacy.

Pharmacy Co-Owner is also the Pharmacy's Director and Manager - no "head office", no quotas. In addition to hourly wage, we offer extended health and dental to Pharmacists who work over 20 hours per week, and a commission paid on Professional Services.

Candidates must be Registered Pharmacists in British Columbia.

Pharmacist Duties & Responsibilities

-All required responsibilities of a Full Pharmacist per BC College of Pharmacists legislation
-Filling, checking and dispensing medications accurately
-Adapt, develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures in collaboration with leadership
-Provide all appropriate pharmacy services, including patient counselling and follow-up
-Oversee entry of prescriptions through Kroll to ensuring all required documentation is adequate and appropriate including billing and third-party risk mitigation
-Supervise pharmacy assistants as necessary
-Actively seeks out new and innovative ways to improve processes and expand business opportunities
-Assists leadership with assessing and improving financial performance
-Pharmacy will be open 7 days per week. Occasional weekend coverage is required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

-Licensed to practice as a Full Pharmacist in British Columbia providing direct patient care, injections and OAT
-Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
-Minimum 2+ years work experience in community pharmacy in British Columbia
-Proficiency in Kroll
-Strong knowledge of third party insurance plans including PharmaCare
-Excellent customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
-Ability to physical stand for extended periods of time
-OAT-CAMPP course by the BC Pharmacy Association
-Basic understanding of delivery routes and managing logistics
