When in need… a familliar indeed. Taking time to welcome all the outpouring of guests that have reached out to come check in.

Star & I are super thankful for all the kindness since the last post. Update: g’ma’s surgery went well- she will be learning to walk with crutches for the first little bit.
Star: the family Pom… has been hanging out with her “boyfriend” you know… the family member that spoils her the most.
We had baths, walks, tried different types of foods (as star has not been eating very well lately)

Star did run away from me for a moment to sniff the neighbours yard across the street & didnt listen to come back - so I left her on my giant bed with a ladder to get down I make-shifted out of my grans rocking chair (that JUST fit beside my bed)

We BOTH slept through the night… albeit we went to sleep at 1:11 am. So a 6:30 am rise seems legit.

Sorting through apothecary treasures & herbs today, finding David Rhodes & I a local family dr as my family dr is about to retire and I need to find a replacement.
Final thought on that:
How do you replace the family Dr that delivered you & sat with your mom those long 9 months. Shirley Hovan has been an absolute professional DIE HARD for our family over the past 42 years. She has nursed & Doctored us back to health more times than I can remember. Part of those memories will be getting sent this way with my permanent file dating back to 1982 .
I want to thank you Shirley from the depths of my soul for EVERYTHING you have done for my family. I know you won’t see this but I’m here today because of your expertise. My siblings are all here because of your expertise & my family carry’s on in a healthy holistic way because of your leadership.

October 6 is the first Sunday of October 🎃 which means Anarchy Coffee Roasters will be having us for tea!!! Oh no this is not a private event… never has been. This is old fashion spill some tea and eat a snack.
Sure if you want to discuss business we can, if you want to exchange readings we can, if you want to learn your cards or talents better bring them along and let’s spill tea about them.
Today NEBS NEBULA from my short stories will be attending-
We had an amazing day shopping for the Apothecary yesterday at The Hallow in Penticton~ all the ladies were ever so helpful! Oooooh & the new friends made were so tantalizing! I could just eat plushy gnomes up!

Today is about reconnecting- the number 6 is about the beginning of new cycles. Of which I understand there has been some “new cycles” appearing for many of us. While we have something new~ we must remember our constants. Those who constant & appear with baskets of offerings right to your feet~ no phone call needed. I would like to say I’m thankful for all of you as you have been thankful for me.
I’m utilizing my Facebook to determine how many people actually see these posts & then want to talk about them after… but are never given the opportunity.
So… the first Sunday of every month the Cal Adam AR Tarot & Tea House VIP will attend tea at our anarchy spot. It’s public and open to anyone & all types of questions. If you miss this one… no worry… NOVEMBER has a first Sunday as well.
Now Try not to clamber all in at once… as I’m trying to prove that last minute posting is NOT effective. It needs careful planning and marketing. If I were planning to have say… 200+ people attend my coffee I would like to ask some advice:
1) what are my best advertising platforms? Ie: social media- bill boards- radio- newspaper- etc
2) do you remember jingles? Should our Sunday have a catchy jingle?
3) if I keep my promise & attend every first Sunday of the month & only post on here, is this effective marketing?
4) what types of things would you like to see from past tea meetings shared to entice you to come to the next one.

No tags or hashtags… no like follow or share. Just good old fashion… I saw this and was interested so I went.

Whelp… here it is… settled. Now the real work begins. Currently there is a WHOLE bunch of things we are pumping out of the Cal Adam AR Tarot & Tea House VIP

I have been working on short stories that are evolving into children’s books… I’ve been trying to find a medium to write through for years. As I work on the character developments, voices, personalities, etc the most challenging part is keeping everything involved ORGANIZED!

As I’ve started writing I’ve noticed this creates even more creative juices around the house. It’s goal Priority 1 to get the first batch of cookies made. Then the kitchen (both up stairs and down) will be transforming into a new creative space for candies, treats & delights to go along with teas we will be serving.

Speaking of teas- for sure we will have our classic bags available & we gladly take donations! We will also be hosting a whole plethora of local pickings offered from myself foraging, local elders & friends who offer sage advice. You’ll be able to come by- choose a season- and there should be a tea for it!

Next- oh yes we will be doing readings. We have a few spaces around the house & even in the yard we can choose to connect. Each of these spaces have an eclectic feel & their own distinct vibrations. You’ll be able to wander through the guided house tour looking for gnomes as you travel & choosing your favorite space to relax in for our sessions.

Now you ask if this is a business… ?
Is it? Is it business to offer support to people who aren’t sure where else to go? Is it business to not want to just open my door and sit on the street and talk at random to anyone that would want to listen?
This is a home OF business people. We work so often that sometimes we just need a comfortable sanctuary to share with those who we work along side of.

When you ask if this costs anything to attend first ask yourself these questions:

1) does it cost something to pay rent, bills, food at your own home? Cause it costs the same in ours.
2) is there a possibility that the time we are making available for you to come connect could also be time that one of us COULD be at work or investing in our current projects? What is the nature of the visit? Why do you need this advice? Why are we the ones to help you here at the tea house?
3) is there an exchange of energy- are you asking for expertise in something you know NOTHING or LITTLE about? Because I don’t just have an open channel when the universe just tells me things- this is 17 years of political involvement- 5 years of university- 13 years of grade school- & some CRAZY life experiences.

Ask yourself- how would it make you feel if you asked someone for professional assistance (for your expertise) and then asked you if it was FREE?

Got the windows & glass all shined up for our lucky day today! Friday the 13th brings about abundance energy in a way you have to “walk backwards” to harness.

There is plenty of good luck left over from all the people who think for some reason this day is unlucky- probably because of misinformation or old wives tales from when the candles were lit…

Today is a day to maneuver to all your lucky places- past all those unlucky moments- to catch them before them happen. To spread joy to those having an “unlucky day “ is your mission. If you choose not to accept it… oh well!

Coolest thing happened when I got home to Cal Adam AR Tarot & Tea House VIP from The Artful Hand- there was a baby dove just sitting here at my patio table. At first I was concerned because it was so young- I thought it had fallen from the nest- so I did my diligence and called animal conservation & did my online research.

I brought some seed and water in bowls and then just sat with the little. Eventually I had to go inside - but David Rhodes sat and watched as the little dove hopped to the back of the yard. Later to be found by its parents who frequent our back maple.

The little wings worked just fine… he just wanted to sit at the patio table. As he flew up into the tree to bed down for the night.

Most beautiful, I was just sitting there in the chair next to it for a while. Making sure it was ok. Very thankful for the special moment of peace 🕊️
