"I have worn glasses for 29 years and wanted laser eye surgery for years, but never felt comfortable going through with it. I got feedback from friends on the actual surgery and Googled Vivid, finding they had great reviews. After talking to the staff at Vivid about the procedure, I decided to commit. I was able to book a consult within 2 weeks of calling and had the procedure within 2 weeks of my consult. The staff was great. They were kind and informative. They even provide an after-hours number in case there are any issues, and it’s very easy to get in touch via email (sometimes receiving a response within minutes). Not needing multiple pairs of glasses or sunglasses is amazing. Not having to reach for my glasses first thing in the morning, and being able to SEE while I put on my makeup is awesome. “I first thought about laser eye surgery when my optometrist warned I could get an eye infection if I wasn’t more careful with my contacts. They were a real pain. The cost held me back, but hearing from friends who had the procedure encouraged me to go for it. The staff at Vivid was excellent and took the time to answer all my questions. "I was tired of wearing glasses and had really dry eyes with my contacts. It has bothered me a lot for the last 2 years. I went to see my optometrist to gather information on laser eye surgery, visited the Vivid website and read the Google reviews. I think your eyes are so delicate and vulnerable. The idea that something could go wrong was frightening. Vivid is amazing. Lots of information already to be found on the website to start with. During the consultation all the other questions I had were answered. I felt immediately I was in good hands. Everyone is very friendly. It's been life changing. I enjoy life without glasses and the freedom it gives, doing sports, everything, it's amazing. I am so happy. It's the best money spent ever, the best investment in yourself. "I needed new glasses and contacts and thought laser eye surgery was so affordable there was no reason not to take care of my poor vision once and for all. I wanted to get the procedure done locally and Vivid had the best reviews. The only thing that held me back was time off work to get the procedure complete. I had PRK and it really wasn’t bad at all. I was fully healed in 3 weeks, and after a week could go back to my regular routine with only a few limitations. Freedom from glasses and contacts is amazing. I’m still looking for my glasses when I wake up, then have a big smile when I realize I don’t need them anymore. What a way to start every day!! Just do it. Only regret is I didn’t do it sooner. "My brother called me up and told me about his laser eye surgery. Said it was the easiest thing he’s ever done. I hadn’t considered it until then. I checked out Vivid’s reviews on Google and talked to a few others and decided to make an appointment for a consult with them. Eye surgery wasn’t as scary as I thought it was. I felt pretty calm, and the numbing drops really helps with the anxiety of being still. I am less frustrated by foggy, dirty glasses, and my favourite thing is taking off my sunglasses when I walk into a building and not have to fumble around for my other glasses just to look around!
