"Being in a financial position to comfortably afford the procedure was a key factor, but I also felt that to get the best use of the surgery, it made sense to do it now rather than waiting. Living outside of Kelowna meant coordinating travel and time off work, but Vivid was very helpful in managing all of those details. I wouldn’t look elsewhere. Vivid is the best of the best. Your eyes are essential to daily life, and I would only trust Vivid to take care of mine. For me it was above and beyond excellent. "I’ve been struggling with glasses and contacts for 36 years, so as soon as I was able, I began looking into laser eye surgery. After some online searching I contacted Vivid directly. It’s hard to put into words, but the procedure is truly life-changing. I don’t worry about losing a contact. I can wake in the middle of the night and see, or get up and go outside with sunglasses without putting contacts in first, especially on sunny days. The list of freedoms goes on and on! "My application to the RCMP got rejected because of my eyes. I thought that was a good enough reason to go ahead and finally get laser eye surgery like I’ve always wanted. I was waiting for the technology to catch up. Not that I’m an expert, but why get an iPhone 5 when you could wait for an iPhone 17, right? It’s life 👏 changing 👏. I got my first pair of glasses 25 years ago and now I’m literally seeing life through a whole new lens. 15-minute procedure, 2-day recovery, life forever changed. I’d say go for it. "I’d been wanting to get laser eye surgery for a while but was nervous about the procedure. I read online reviews, checked Google and Facebook, and even spoke to a few people who had it done, then booked a consultation at Vivid. The staff were so helpful and reassuring. It’s been life-changing! I love waking up and being able to see clearly without reaching for my glasses. Even simple things, like watching a movie in 3D, are so much easier now. "I wanted clearer eyesight and freedom from glasses. At first, the cost made me hesitate, but when I thought about it, it was worth the investment. I spoke with people who had already had laser eye surgery, including a colleague who went to Vivid, and I read plenty of Google reviews. From my first consultation, the staff were knowledgeable, patient, and never pressured me into anything. On the day of the procedure, the team was excellent. I’m usually not nervous in medical settings, but I could tell they worked to keep the environment calm and welcoming. Now, I feel more confident. Tasks at work are easier without glasses, like no straining to read and waking up with immediate vision clarity. It is totally worth it. Thank you for a great experience.
