"I didn’t like the idea of being completely reliant on my glasses. Without them, I couldn’t drive and could barely read. I was annoyed not knowing if I was picking up shampoo or body wash in the shower, and during physical activity, my sweat would always slide my glasses down. I wanted to wait for laser eye surgery until my prescription was somewhat stable and give me time to save up. My optometrist recommended Vivid if I ever wanted LASIK, and I loved that it was close by so I didn’t have to drive to Vancouver. I can go ziplining without worrying about my helmet bumping my glasses, or go to the hot springs and actually see the clock. If you’re on the fence, just know that they play music you like during surgery, I picked Avril Lavigne. The only downside is that the surgery isn’t long enough to get through three full songs! 🤣 The communication with the Vivid team was phenomenal. Alicia was so quick to respond to every single question I had, and I had a LOT. She was very patient and understanding, even when my questions felt silly in hindsight. It’s 100% worth it.” - Caleb Belcourt
