Do you have neck pain due to injury?
Are you seeking treatment with no real relief?
Do you suffer from chronic pain or migraines?

All of these can be the result of damage to areas within the neck & jaw that without a proper CT Scan can go unnoticed - therefore untreated.

Did you also know that you don't require a referral to obtain a Cone Beam CT Scan which includes a full radiology report?

Give us a call to discuss and see if a Cone Beam CT Scan is a good option for you!

Do you need a root canal?

In addition to assisting the diagnosis, CBCT images can also be used as a guide to plan and carry out complex root canal treatment and surgery. 3D images inherently have more detail than two dimensional radiographs and are better suited to show the complex anatomy of a root canal system.

Considering Orthodontics?

Before you consider taking the step into Orthodontics for yourself or a family member, be sure that you either obtain a Cone Beam CT scan or you visit an Orthodontist that uses this technology for the best outcome.

The great advantage of CBCT is that it provides images of various dental, oral, and maxillofacial structures in multiple orthogonal images.

As for younger patients, this is a great option due to the radiation exposure being more of a concern.

4 Signs you may have Sinusitis.

Acute sinusitis symptoms often include thick, yellow or greenish mucus from the nose, known as a runny nose, or down the back of the throat, known as postnasal drip. Blocked or stuffy nose, known as congestion. This makes it hard to breathe through the nose. It can also be accompanied with a fever and coughing.

If you suffer from sinusitis frequently, you may wish to consider a Cone Beam CT Scan to determine if there are further underlying issues within your sinus cavity that can and should be addressed. CBCT also provides optimal imaging of supporting tissue surrounding teeth to enable the detection of odontogenic causes of sinusitis.

Do you suffer from TMJ pain?

TMJ also known as Temporomandibular joints are the 2 joints that connect your lower jaw to your skull. Many people suffer from pain and tenderness in their jaw joints and surrounding muscles. This can be caused from teeth grinding, injuries to the jaw, and everyday wear and tear.

Treatment varies depending on the person and severity. However, a Cone Beam CT scan can be the first step in diagnosis and creating a treatment plan.

If you’ve ever woken up with your jaw sore and you have no idea why or your jaw “clicks” or is painful when eating certain foods, you may suffer from TMJ. Giving us a call is the first start in not only finding out but starting a treatment plan sooner than later.

Your health is in your hands.

Revolutionizing Endodontics: How Cone Beam CT Scan Changes the Game 🦷

Endodontics, the branch of dentistry focused on diagnosing and treating tooth-related infections, is undergoing a revolution. Advances in cone beam CT scan technology are enabling endodontists to provide more effective treatments for their patients. Cone beam CT scans allow endodontists to create detailed 3D images of a patient’s teeth and jaw, allowing them to accurately diagnose and plan treatment with greater precision and accuracy. By utilizing the latest technology, endodontists can provide more effective treatments and better outcomes for their patients. In this blog post, we will look at how cone beam CT scans are revolutionizing endodontics.

What is Endodontics and why is it important?
Endodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry that focuses on diagnosing and treating infections and diseases of the dental pulp. The dental pulp is the soft tissue inside the tooth that contains blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue. Endodontists are highly trained dental specialists who perform root canal treatments and other procedures to save teeth that would otherwise need to be extracted.
