🎃👻 What a Spooktacular Halloween at Orchard Gardens Seniors Community! 👻🎃

Our residents and staff had an amazing time celebrating Halloween together — full of laughter, creativity, and plenty of sweet treats! 🍬🕸️ The costumes were incredible, from witches and wizards to superheroes and classic spooky characters. 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️🧚‍♀️

🎉🥣 Soup-er Star Alert! 🥣🎉

Congratulations to our amazing Head Chef Vern for winning the Orchard Gardens Soup Competition!! 👏🍲

Our talented chef and his cooks competed with one another to create their best soups, and our wonderful residents had the tough (and delicious!) job of tasting and voting for their favorite. 🧑‍🍳❤️
Vern’s soup stole the show once more — proof that his passion, creativity, and love for good food truly shine through in every bowl. 🌟
Thank you to all our chefs and residents who took part in this fun (and tasty!) tradition. We can’t wait to see what Vern cooks up next! 😋🥇

🌟 Meet Our Team Member Nicole! 🌟

If you've ever walked through the front doors of Orchard Gardens Seniors Community in the past 14 years, chances are you’ve been warmly welcomed by Nicole at our front desk. With her kind heart and smile, calming presence, and incredible knowledge, Nicole truly is the backbone of our team here at Orchard Gardens. 💚

Nicole recently celebrated an incredible 25 years of marriage – a beautiful milestone! She and her husband are the proud parents of two amazing sons, and at home, they’re kept company by their cat Gizmo 🐱 and dog Duck 🐶.

Proudly of Lebanese descent, Nicole comes from a large, close-knit family and brings that same sense of warmth, hospitality, and community to everything she does here.

💬 When asked about working at Orchard Gardens, Nicole shared:

"Every day here is special. I love being part of a team that truly cares, and it means so much to be able to make a difference in someone’s day – even with just a smile."

🌞 A Perfect Day at Agur Lake! 🛶🎣🍔

A follow-up from our previous post depicting the amazing day at Agur Lake! Our Orchard Gardens Seniors Community residents had an unforgettable day at the beautiful and serene Agur Lake in Summerland! 💚

From peaceful fishing 🎣 and lakeside games 🎲 to an incredible BBQ feast 🍗🌭 prepared just for them — it was a day full of laughter, joy, and connection.

This remote gem offered the perfect escape into nature, and our residents truly made the most of it! 💬💦

🌞 Perfect Day at Agur Lake! 🏞️🍔

Our amazing seniors had a wonderful outing to the breathtaking Agur Lake in Summerland — a truly picturesque and peaceful spot nestled by the water. 💙 Surrounded by nature and great company, we enjoyed a day full of laughter, games, and fun activities 🎯🃏🎈— all topped off with a delicious BBQ feast that everyone raved about! 🍗🌽🍉

We were so happy to be joined by our friends from Charles Manor Seniors Community - Penticton, one of our cherished sister communities. 👵👴❤️ The day was filled with connection, joy, and making beautiful memories together.

🐾 What a paws-itively heartwarming day at Orchard Gardens Seniors Community! 💖- Incase you missed this wonderful event! We raised funds for the BCSPCA :)

Our residents had a tail-wagging good time petting the sweetest pups 🐶, sharing smiles 😄, and winning some fabulous prizes 🎁 — all while raising funds for the BCSPCA 🐾💰!

Huge thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and brought such joyful energy to this special event. The animals (and our hearts) are forever grateful! 🐕🐾🐈
