If you or someone you know is experiencing chronic migraine issues, we may be able to help. Vital Health will assist you through navigating the financial hurdles to obtaining Ajovy, an anti-CGRP once monthly injectable product for migraines. We help apply for special authority with Pharmacare, your private insurance plan(s), and work closely with the Teva Support Solutions program to eliminate cost barriers to treatment. We also offer on-site injection training and free delivery from Lake Country to West Kelowna. Give us a call at the pharmacy to ask for more details.

Our iron infusion business seems to be taking off! We offer both Monoferric and generic Venofer (Iron Sucrose) infusions at our pharmacy. Patients will often not qualify to receive iron infusions at KGH if their hemoglobin is normal, but their ferritin is low. That's where we can help! Monoferric is a single infusion which is convenient and often more cost effective than multiple iron sucrose infusions. Call us at the pharmacy if you have any questions with regards to coverage, cost, or just general inquiries about the medication itself.

Vital Health Pharmacy has partnered with Apotex for the Apo Assist patient support program for MS medications such as Teriflunomide, Fingolimod, and Dimethyl Fumarate. The program can provide educational materials, help with reimbursement/ financial assistance, provide bloodwork reminders, and can be a resource for patients throughout therapy. Patients can also receive $30 monthly to go towards extended health benefits through our NKS Blue Charm initiative. This comprehensive support program helps remove some of the burden associated with MS and Vital Health is proud to be a part of it!
