✨ A New Chapter: Craniosacral Kelowna becomes SengNam Craniosacral Therapy ✨

This month I’ve taken a step forward in my practice — Craniosacral Kelowna is now SengNam Craniosacral Therapy. The same work, the same links, and the same heart behind it — just carried under a new name and a deeper story.

The word SengNam translates from Lao as “light of water”, a name that reflects both my personal connection to my years living in Southeast Asia and the essence of craniosacral therapy itself — fluid, light, and full of quiet intelligence. Growth often asks us to shed old layers, and this rebrand feels like a natural harvest after seasons of preparation, seeding, and tending.

As fall ripens around us — with apples so abundant in my yard I can hardly give them all away — I feel that same sense of fullness and gratitude in sharing this transition with you. At the end of the day, a name is just a name. What matters most is the people we walk alongside in this work, and I’m honored to continue journeying with you toward greater stillness, balance, and health.

If you know me I have about a dozen books going at once. This one however, is on loan so I'm taking extra time to make sure I get through it by Christmas Eve 🎄

My pediatric journey started at an information event at .care when Dr. Pada presented some case studies from her work. I was shocked at how little I had known as a mom about tongue tie and airway restrictions and how much we are affected by these common but often overlooked issues.

As a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist I help people release and reorganize their body from issues that are often years in the making - even from childhood and in utero.

Driving home from that information night (almost a year ago now) I bawled my eyes out. I realized how we can relieve years of unnecessary tension, chronic ailments and a whole pile of other crap with a few gentle early treatments.

I'm thrilled to be concluding this year doing what I love and can't wait to see what happens next year!

When explaining Craniosacral Therapy to people this is exactly what comes to mind. The intelligence and energy behind a baby being formed from mico sized cells or a wound healing and knitting our body back together...it is the same thing.

The beauty is that it just happens. We don't try, manage or control it. Our age, education or status has nothing to do with it. This is our birthright and it is abundant and accessible for everyone.

Did you know Infant Craniosacral Therapy can work with older busy babies?

Babies and toddlers can be squirmy. That's perfectly ok 👌

When parents are thinking about booking an appointment for their baby don't worry. Your baby doesn't have to be lying perfectly still in a calm meditative state. They can sit on a lap, read a book or play with their favorite toy.

As an Infant Craniosacral Therapist I follow the baby while they play.

Often, parents are surprised how relaxed their baby is during a treatment 🤍
