The real Yoga happens on the Inside ~ In the Inner Landscapes of ourselves.

It’s an “inside job”.

Interoception is a noticing of our internal body; our heart rate, our breath, the energy moving through us, the emotions that rise up in us.

Can we notice all of them without judgement?
Can we allow the rise and shift of energy and emotions with a loving awareness? Deep self Love?

To watch and notice without judgement is where the magic happens.

Take a step back from your experience, and step into the seat of the Observer.

Breathe and Watch.
Breathe and Feel.

And let the Magic unfold.

“Wild Thing” or Camatkarasana allows for an opening of your heart, lungs, throat and hips.
It can stimulate your Heart Chakra (Anahata) which can bring about feelings of Love, Peace, Joy and Confidence.

Conscious Slowing. Conscious Deep Listening.

When I’m not sure about something, this is what I do.
I slow down.
I take time to sit in my personal practices.
🌿
When we are too busy in our lives, we miss the messages.
We can make decisions that, later, we realize were not in alignment with us.
🌿
In times like these, where there is so much “busyness” in our world, with many moving and changing pieces, it is so crucial to take the time to be still.
🌿
To listen for the answers.
To allow the messages to come in.
They’re always there. Sometimes we just need to quiet down.
And listen.

Ever have those moments of deep Love and Gratitude for yourself? This morning I had one of those moments.
I put on one of my favourite essential oils, 🌸Jasmine🌸, threw on Baiana by and I Danced!
This fire 🔥 lit up within me, intuitively moving to the music.
I had moments of looking at myself in the mirror, locking my eyes in a deep gaze, and thought “Wow”.
And then the waves of gratitude came rushing in.
For my Body, my Heart, this Wild and Beautiful Life we are living in.
And then I put on a really fun sparkly bodysuit and danced some more 🌿✨🦋😉

This pose considers the Moon in great symbolism. And, as we’ve just reached the New Moon of May, I thought to share a little of this pose (which feels SO good in the body!) ~ This pose helps to activate & balance opposite sides of the body, just as the Moon and Sun are in an energetic Balance.

More than just the Moon, “Chandra” refers to something that is glittering, shining, a brilliant object that is illuminated by light.
The moon, which is feminine energy, is nurturing, receptive, tranquil, and symbolizes one half of the two polar energies in the body.

Who’s interested ?!

Classes will be broken into Age groups :
🌿 2-7 yrs
🌿 8-12 yrs
🌿 Teens (13+)

Time : 30 minutes
Where : Zoom Online

Who: Any and all Family members, Pets welcome too:)

Price : $8 per Family.

*Why $8 ?
Well, 8 makes me think of the Infinity Symbol. It represents Balance, Connection, Harmony & Equilibrium.
All of which most of us are needing right now.
And, I want to make these classes accessible to all families 🙂

Yoga is such a special way to connect deeper with your family members, learn about body awareness and have fun!

Kids & Family Yoga

Yoga has been part of my life for more than 12 years and it has helped me overcome various ailments from sports injuries and car accidents. I completed my 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training in Nicaragua with Mocean Yoga in 2017 and my 100 Hr Training with Ramaswami in 2019. I have been working with and teaching Kids and Family Yoga for a number of years, and I believe that Yoga and Meditation have an important role in the emotional and physical development of kids, and also in their relationships with their families and in their school environments. Yoga and Meditation give Kids the tools to help reduce stress by fostering an atmosphere of peace and focused attention. My classes are fun, musical adventures that emphasize breath and movement along with storytelling and games. Children and their families leave with a deep nurturing of their body and mind. xx
