Meet Joel! 🤸‍♂️

🤓 The co-owner of MotionWorx! For over 20 years, Joel has dedicated his craft to enrich people's lives through movement. He takes on a unique lens when rehabbing his clients and uses his knowledge to gain the best results! Joel is a long time nerd; his multiple degrees can attest (Bachelor in Human Kinetics, Physiotherapy & a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy)

💯 When Joel isn't drinking coffee or treating your neighbors cousin's brother in-law... he is mastering the art of brazilian jiu jitsu, coaching his son's soccer team, and mentoring both up and coming physiotherapists, and those working toward a certification in Sport Physiotherapy.

🤗 Joel is an incredible physiotherapist, who is devoted to his profession, and wants to see nothing but the best out of his clients and his clinic.

✨️ Meet Valeria! ✨️

💛 Valeria has been with us since January 2023, and since then, our jobs got exponentially easier (administration wise).

💛 Valeria is on the brink of finishing her Health and Exercise Science degree in pursuit of a Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy career (currently undecided). If she seems familiar to you, it's probably because she doesn't stray from being involved in the community. You can spot her working alongside the Okanagan Sun as an athletic trainer (under ), a fitness instructor for the Special Olympics Club Fit program (), and an avid actor on our Instagram Feed.

💛 In her free time, she likes to go to the gym 🏋‍♀️, bake sugar cookies 🍪, cuddle up with her cat 🐈, and make videos 📹.

💛 You can expect Val to be the one answering your email or phone call, handling your billing, and making sure there are always freshly laundered towels.

💛 We truly are blessed to have her as part of our team. She plans on becoming registered as a Kinesiologist by early 2026, so you can find her practicing soon at a clinic near you!

In 2019, Ingrid and Joel opened their doors to MotionWorx Physiotherapy. A dream they had, turned into reality. They have created and maintained a space for people to calmly find their way back to doing the things they love! If you haven't had the chance to be treated here, make this your number #1 spot for rehab, maintenance, injury prevention, and all things sport rehab.

We have the amazing Joel, Ingrid, Tom, and Brett representing as our main Physios.

And we have Michelle and Val representing our amazing Administrative staff.

Without any of these names above, the clinic wouldn't be what it is today.

We are clucking excited for the long weekend! 🦃

We are going to be closed Monday October 13th for Thanksgiving Day and will be back on Tuesday October 14th for our regular hours.

We hope everyone is able to take some time and be with loved ones, and hopefully stuff their faces with delicious food!
