At GreenTree, we pause today to honor the survivors of residential schools, the children who never made it home, and the families and communities forever impacted. We acknowledge the importance of truth, learning, and reconciliation in the work we do each day.
Culture is at the heart of who we are. Many of the individuals we serve and staff we work alongside are Indigenous, and we are proud to celebrate, support, and learn from their heritage. At GreenTree, we create opportunities year-round for children and staff to connect with Indigenous traditions—through stories, activities, and teachings that ensure culture is not lost but instead honored and carried forward.
Our commitment is to walk alongside the people we serve with respect, compassion, and openness—helping to nurture pride in their identity and ensuring their voices and heritage are part of daily life.
