Awareness
Something I have been thinking about a lot recently is that the first step towards healing is Awareness. And this can perhaps be the most uncomfortable step. You see prior to awareness your “issues” weren’t a problem to you, blissful ignorance you may think. But as you begin to look closer is it really that blissful, your life may be chaos and in that you take no responsibility. It’s always somebody else’s fault, you are the victim, you are powerless. And then you become ✨AWARE✨. Aware of your patterns, aware of your contribution to your suffering and aware of your POWER💪.
You aren’t the victim, you are the catalyst for change. Realizing this can feel overwhelming, it can come with feelings of guilt, fear, anxiety, depression. But as you sit with it there starts to be a shift that originates from the power that you have reclaimed. You can rewrite your story, you can change how you experience this life.
This is why we know that self-awareness is the key to transformation and starts the moment you become aware. So don’t be afraid to look at yourself, to be objective with your experience, to wade through some of those feelings on the other side of awareness, because that first step can quite literally be life changing ✨💕✨
