Back in the 70's my grandfather, Vern Drader, started a cattle sales business, El Centro Sales. In the heart of the prairies the company quickly grew and was known for importing cattle from Europe and the United States. In the mid 90's my father, Garth Drader, partnered with his father to build the successful El Centro Llama Sales in the Fraser Valley. The family business has always had a reputation for raising good, solid livestock and delivering impeccable service. Our motto "Quality with Integrity" has served us well. Now, almost 40 years later, I continue to deliver the same standard of service in the equine industry of the Okanagan. I specialize in coaching beginner to intermediate riders of all ages in Western and English disciplines. As a therapeutic instructor I also understand challenges riders face such as fear and anxiety. Starting green horses, driving, judging 4H, and general coaching has given me the privilege of meeting many great people throughout the Central Okanagan

We are very excited to share that we have purchased our own property and El Centro is moving to Ellison - El Centro Ranch! Nestled above the Kelowna airport the property offers beautiful views, serenity and 10.5 acres of useable space. Plans are in place to develop, expand and upgrade the property to better accommodate our training, coaching, clinic and therapeutic programs. We will also be providing limited pasture board with access to trails - contact us for details. Our assistant coach will continue to offer therapeutic lessons at the beautiful Mission Creek Ranch to give our therapeutic riding students a choice of location that suits them best. We want to thank D and L Equine for sharing their facility with us over the last 12 years! Lessons and training will begin at El Centro Ranch on Monday, October 6th.
