Had the opportunity to reflect on myself the past little bit. I realize I tend to give credit for "closeness" to people when we never were close. I feel more. I love harder. I give more. I sacrifice more. I actually tend to think and feel like there is a lot more depth in our relationships than the other people do.
Today, I am changing me. Removing me. Pink glasses are removed & I see some of the relationships for what they are. Superficial and a scratch of the surface.
How many relationships are superficial in your life? Work? Friends? Even family?

Feel blessed, never lucky. Beautiful reminders for us who hold on to little things that we don't need to. Once we drop the word "lucky", our perspective changes into positivity. For example, " I'm lucky to have a new loving partner". This reminds us that our previous partner was unloving, disrespectful, abusive...But, if we say, "I'm blessed to have a loving relationship", this says we deserve that love. 🥰

Most times, when I ask if someone has panic attacks, I hear, "I'm not sure". Unless the panic attack is "massive", not many people are aware of them. Silent panic attacks are real and can be very heavy to the individual.

Life at the moment can be hectic, especially watching the news or scrolling social media. Now, more than ever, we need to protect our mental health. Seek out positivity in your life. Turn off the news. Hang out with friends. Find an understanding counsellor. Scream in the forest. Just find a safe way to unleash, unload and stay safe.

The conclusion of another outstanding year at BCSS is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our exceptional staff and students. The staff are the driving force behind the school's success, and their commitment to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment is truly commendable.
This year's students have shown remarkable resilience and determination, achieving notable successes in their academic pursuits and personal growth. I was deeply moved to receive a gift from one of the students. Great taste! 😊 Thank you for this thoughtful gesture!
