H**p yields about 70% more cellulose per hectare than forest — and it matures in just six months.
If paper were made mainly from h**p, millions of hectares of forest could be spared each year. H**p’s uses go far beyond cellulose: its fibers become extremely durable textiles for clothing, footwear and ropes, while the woody core is turned into building materials like h**pcrete — an eco-friendly “concrete” with excellent insulation. The seeds are highly nutritious and pressed into oil rich in Omega‑3 and Omega‑6, and the plant can even be processed into biofuels as a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
