The Butterfly Effect brings our community together to share memories and honour our loved ones.

Join us on Saturday, June 20th at Falcon Ridge Farms to share in the release of 400 butterflies.

🦋Falcon Ridge Farms, 579 Rifle Road, Kelowna
🦋 Butterfly release at 11:45am
🦋 Live music, refreshments and children’s activities
🦋 Bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit on and relax on the grass
🦋Cost $55 per butterfly / $150 for a 3 pack
🦋Only 400 butterflies available

Today, on Mother’s Day, we are at Lakeview Memorial Gardens and Cemetery handing out carnations for all the mothers we have laid to rest. 💐

Remembering their love, their strength, and the beautiful lives they lived. They are gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. 🤍🕊️

We know that for many, Mother’s Day isn’t just about brunch and cards, it’s a day of quiet reflection and remembering those we’ve lost. The ache of an empty chair or the distance of many miles can make the day feel heavy.

When a mother is no longer with us, Mother’s Day can feel like a quiet, heavy space.

If you find yourself far from home or simply unable to make the trip this year, we want you to know you aren’t alone.
​We believe that every mother should be remembered, especially on a day like this.

On this day in 1945, the world celebrated the end of the war in Europe, a victory made possible by the incredible bravery of over one million Canadians.

​At Lakeview Memorial Gardens, we are spending the day reflecting on the local veterans who rest within our peaceful grounds. Their legacy is the peace we walk in today.

​Today we pause to remember:

​The 45,000+ Canadians who gave their lives.

​The local families whose resilience shaped our community.

​The enduring freedom we are blessed to share.

​We invite you to visit us today for a quiet moment of reflection or to place a flower at a veteran’s memorial.

One of the most meaningful parts of what we do is meeting families who are walking through a loss… and hearing them say, “Mom and Dad already took care of everything.”🥰

Many of these arrangements were made 20, 30… even 40 years ago. And today, in one of life’s hardest moments, their children are spared the stress, the financial pressure, and the overwhelming decisions.

It’s a gift,one that lasts decades.💕

When we’re younger, it’s not something7 we naturally think about. Life is busy, full, and focused on the now. But taking a little time to plan ahead isn’t about today… it’s about protecting the people we love most in the future.

It’s one of the simplest ways to ease a9 burden your family may one day have to carry. 🤍
