Just doing what everyone else is doing. Fixed my blocked posts. I wondered where everybody had been! This is good to know. It's ridiculous to have 762 friends and only 25 are allowed to see my posts.
I ignored this post earlier because I didn’t think it worked. It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. Therefore, hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go to your page, start a new post, and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click "paste". This will bypass the system.

Our business is growing so fast we are looking for experienced dedicated potters looking for an opportunity to grow in this creative field. This contract job includes instructing in any one of these techniques of clay art, pottery wheel, hand building , sculpture, glaze and decorating techniques, Raku and firing techniques. We are also looking for management skills that go along with running a dynamic and very busy pottery school / studio business and gallery. A smelly occupation
Clay, (I'm Liken it too!) *
Clay not only takes one by the hand it coats your mind with slurry but not to worry! When I open my bag of clay from Enderby Cliffs that Scent of Mother Earth awakens new ideas in my mind bout creating something Out of Hand, daydreaming about a pot for every room and occasion, potting every day from Twelve o'clock AM till Twelve o'clock Noon.
Pot and Potting all day long and every and night as well and firing up that old kiln will drive you crazing for your love of glazing? Try and throw a perfect pot NO SWEAT!
All fired up and Ready to Go, Mud, Sweat and Tears, now I reveal my pots for the show.
To our many guides and coaches who made thousands of pots that we purchased, your hands are so many, you showed us the way to a lifestyle of fire, stone and clay.
This occupation can be smelly but the rewards are so many through the Fires of Hell our crushed rock does melt and when the kiln cools down our pottery from Hell turns in to a glazed and beautiful pot.
Pottery from Heaven and Earth and pots quenched by Fire and Water makes the true life of every dusty, dirty, dedicated and yes Addicted Potter.

Workshop
Studio will be closed from 9:00am to 1:00pm each day

Sat. Apr. 6 and Sun. Apr. 7 from 10-4 each day.

Bruce will teach a variety of pottery wheel techniques including clay preparation, extruding clay for production, centering shapes for throwing different pots or plates, throwing clay off the hump lids, bowls, spouts, goblets etc.
Production throwing, a series of honey pots and mugs
using the laser light for pot sizes and lid fit, altering clay after throwing, fish trays, throwing French butter dishes, Rolled handles for the fish tray and lion feet for other interesting ware.
Throwing a large twisted scored vase (very interesting to see)
Turning pots using bisque fired chucks (a variation of Paul Davis idea)
This plus other inspirations from 40 years of workshops and observations from many Great potters
Grant Nyeste will teach a number of techniques that he has mastered including throwing a large slab of clay without the use of a slab roller, mugs wheel thrown then altered,
adding extruded handles and feet to slab pots

Prerequisite for a membership: Students must have completed at least two full courses and must register for Glaze tech. level one.

At Potters Addict Bonnie and Anetta want to share the JOY of creating something from a ball of mud into a sculpture or something functional such as a bow, or mug.

We love the experience of gettin down and dirty and so will you!
