Did you stop today to relish the wonders around you?

We are experiencing a cold period in the last few days, yet with it came blue skies and a big sun.
Sometimes we forget to look at the small wonders the day brings . This stop and observation is giving us a chance to inhale, straighten our back and look at things with a different perspective.

What did you wonder about today?

Came to visit with the horses today, to find them up on the hill looking west.
What are the looking at?
I captured a photo of their sight…
First day of the year, when I’d like to gather some great wisdom from the horses, and they stare at the unknown . The landscape was foggy and misty, you could really see forward .
Then I ‘sat’ with what they showed me-
Not always our road/ plan can show us what is next. Quite often we don’t know what one step will bring and where would it lead us. But when we show up with trust, connection to self and higher self, as well as others we can start walking with awareness,k and confidence that no matter where or how the road looks like - we will be ok, we will find our purpose and connection and we will bring light into it ( or any other colour we desire to that grey canvas ;-) )

After that little gathering we had on the hill, we went to play in the forest. Great start for the year.

The small gift of the day often come unexpectedly.
After weeks of not seeing the sun ☀️ it came with its full glory. Giving light and beautiful colours to the surroundings, making it so luminous and so special.

These past few weeks were hard. Hard to face what’s going on the world , hard to find words to describe feelings that were never felt before.

The time spent with the animals is so valuable. They bring us to the moment. They make us more humans then humans.
They bring love in its purity , and kindness from a genuine place, with no agenda, or motive. It’s just because they are, and they want to share that with their surroundings.
Back to grazing, back to rest and digest, back to peace. That’s what they thrive for.
