What if you didn’t have to do all the things you dreaded about healthy eating and losing weight, but you could still see results 🤯⁠

When I put my foot down and got really serious about making a change myself, I knew there were a handful of things I wasn’t willing to do to make it happen...⁠

1️⃣ Give up drinking 🍷⁠
2️⃣ Do hours of cardio every week 🏃‍♀️⁠
3️⃣ Track macros 🍽️⁠

What I needed was to understand HOW my body worked on a deeper level so that I didn’t have to try so damn hard to make it all work. ⁠

✖️ I didn’t want to be the girl who “couldn’t have something”⁠

✖️ I didn’t want to feel deprived all the time⁠

✖️ I didn’t want to do workouts I hated⁠

✖️ And, I definitely didn’t want to track my macros⁠

So instead I just got really intentional about understanding my metabolism and female-specific hormones, so I didn’t have to keep white-knuckling my way to my goal. ⁠

And the results I experienced were mind-blowing 😳⁠

👉️ 30 pounds gone (and kept off)⁠

But the best part? She enjoyed the foods she wanted to during her holidays AND her birthday weekend without it ruining her progress.

Let me ask you this. Do you ever feel discouraged to work on your weight loss goal because you fear that…

The REAL reason you keep giving up.

But first, let me guess…

👉 You’ve recently seen photos of yourself and immediately felt self-conscious

It’s a patience problem. It’s an expectation problem.

It’s not that you don’t know what to do. It’s not even that you’re NOT doing it. It’s that you’re underestimating how much your indulgences are adding up.

So now the only question is, what’s more important, your weight loss goal or your weekend of indulgences?

13 years together and 3 years married today. 🥰 Even after all this time, it feels like it keeps getting better and better. It’s not always perfect, it’s not always easy, but our marriage is one of my proudest committments.

Part of the journey is knowing what to expect.

👉 Keeping your head in the game when you feel like it’s not working.

👉 Knowing when to double down on what you’re doing instead of switching it up.

👉 Not being perfect, but being relentlessly consistent.

The ups and downs are inevitable. How you respond is everything.

Double tap if you can relate to going full send on the weekends...

I promise you don’t need to be “perfect” 7 days a week to see results. But the weekend gap shouldn’t be a canyon.

If your health goal is as important to you as you say it is, you have to get honest with yourself about what your weekends look like.

Here are a few things you can do to stay on track:

👉 Choose one meal over the weekend to splurge on (not four)

👉 Make movement a priority, even if you’re only focused on hitting your step goal.

👉 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!! Bring your water bottle with you when you’re out, and know where you can take a p*e break.

👉 Skip the junk food at the grocery store. Out of sight, out of mind.

👉 Go to a Farmers market to stock up on healthy foods for the week and get some extra steps in too.

👉 Give yourself some exposure therapy and see how it feels to skip the alcohol altogether over the weekend (I promise it gets easier the more you do it).

Think of how you’ll feel on Monday morning knowing you had a nourished, restful, active weekend! I promise it’s worth it 🤛
