Everyone is talking about GLP-1’s and weight loss right now… but what most people don’t realize is that your body already naturally produces GLP-1. 👀
The reason I was finally able to lose 35lbs (and keep them off for over 4 years) is because I figured out how to naturally support the same metabolic pathways Ozempic enhances.
But the best part is that I don’t have to worry about coming off and gaining all the weight back, because I’ve healed my metabolism and completely reset my hormones.
Here are a few things I did (and still do!) to naturally support GLP-1 production:
→ Prioritize the right nutrients
Protein is one of the biggest stimulators of fullness hormones. Think chicken, fish, beef, eggs, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese etc. Try to get minimum 30g per meal.
→ Eat plenty of fibre
Foods like oats, chia seeds, berries, vegetables, flax seeds, peas, apples, oranges, sweet potatoes, avocados etc. Fibre keeps you feeling full and supports healthy 💩
→ Prioritize steps like it’s the most important thing on my to-do list.
Walking (especially after meals) and regular movement support blood sugar balance and appetite regulation. It’s not just about burning calories, ladies. It literally helps balance hormones!
→ Prioritize sleep
Poor sleep can increase hunger hormones, cravings, and appetite the next day. I need all the help I can get with hunger, cravings and appetite, so getting to bed at the same time every night is a MASSIVE non-negotiable for me. It’s too important to be willy-nilly with.
When you stop focusing on being “good” or “bad” and start to think about how your habits are affecting your hormones, satiety, cravings and appetite...
It’s a game-changer.
And this is exactly what I help women do every single day 🤝
