When I was pregnant with my first child, I devoured Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth and Spiritual Midwifery, and was fascinated to learn how well designed the female body is to give birth. This knowledge made me feel as though I belonged to a whole gender of superheroes, and instead of feeling fear about birthing, I felt trust. After experiencing the empowerment of my first birth, I was hooked, and

knew I wanted to support other women on their journey into motherhood. As a mom to four, I know how each birth and each child changes you. I’m passionate about maternal mental wellness, and know the value of having a village of support. I look forward to helping women find resources in our community to nurture them along the way. I have received Dona approved birth doula training and am currently working toward certification. I have also been involved with various community groups providing support and wellness to mothers and am well connected within the Kelowna birth community.
