WELLNESS RITUALS that I subscribe to as a 40 year old high performing woman. 😉✨

Sitting in Gratitude for 5 minutes every morning truly sets the tone for your whole day. If you don’t have time for this, saying 3 things you’re grateful for upon waking had the same effect. ✨

Natural Immunity Boosts with juiced ginger, tumeric and lemon can not only fight off germs, but help with a more balanced gut health. You can also purchase these premade at most grocery stores. 🍋

Loading Up on Green Veggies either in a smoothie or a salad can help with better digestion and is loaded with nutrients our bodies need. 🍃

Red Light Sauna right after a workout (or anytime) has been proven to support cardio health, support muscle recovery, aide with skin health and reduce stress. IMO - it’s worth its weight in gold, just 10 minutes a day can show significant benefits. 🏮

Body Brushing before showering combined with using an all natural hydrating oils post shower can improve skin texture but also support our lymphatic system and with that comes decreased inflammation. 🧴

What a difference a year makes 💪💪

When we drop the “all or nothing” mentality and accept that it’s a lifestyle… it looks like this. ⬆️

Listening to your coach on repeat saying “ consistency, just keep showing up, a win is a win, doing what you can is the journey” - you may roll your eyes (I’m guessing).

BUT - it’s all freaking true!! 👏👏

Your journey is not always going to be structured like an athletes, but some of it very well may be.

Those are seasons. Just like there are seasons where we spend more time hiking than lifting (helloooo summer) 🌞

The point is; we stay MOVING. We maintain the habits we worked so hard to build, and we flex the willpower (some seasons more then others).

Not just so we can “look amazing” but so we can FEEL AMAZING, STRONG, CONFIDENT and PROUD of ourselves. 🧡

You get one body, one life… live it well! 🙌

Consistency is key 🔐 - put it on my tombstone please because this is the most vital piece of the journey!

Can’t get to the gym? Workout at home!

Don’t have equipment? Bands are cheap and get dropped at your doorstep via Amazon.

No cardio equipment? Get outside!

Your “problems” are really just excuses because if there’s a will, there’s a way. It’s just a matter of how bad do you want it. 🧐

This lil mama said “ f the excuses” and just started showing up, and when things changed around her- she found a way to keep showing up. 🙌

Taking a typical fitness challenge to the next level...

Back in 2015 when Certified Master Trainer- Monique Kabel decided to launch her first transformation challenge it was pretty standard. Dubbed the bikini freak challenge, the winner of a 12 week transformation challenge won a prize pack provided by fitness industry companies such as; PharmaFreak, FitMark Bag, Muscle Rich Apparel and PROMixx.

As time went on, like most things in life, the challenge slowly began to evolve. It soon became the Bikini Bliss Challenge with the mission statement always being to help women become empowered to love their bodies. The grand prizes began to morph as well, shifting from being strictly fitness related products to a custom designed bikini, because oddly enough, you would be surprised how many women have never owned or put on a bikini. So in 2017, Monique partnered with Sarah Marie Bikini, an up and coming bikini designer from Grand Prairie, Alberta.

Fast forward to spring 2018. The Bikini Bliss Challenge is yet again taken to another level when Master Trainer- Monique, partners with Ashlee Krutzfeldt (better known as AJK Photography) and joins forces with Nicci Lee for the Destination- Hawaii 2019 Challenge!

The transformation that the challenge has taken alone is proof that when we work hard on something (whether it be our bodies or goals) positive things can (and will) happen.
