“Barb and I took a full year researching and visiting various Retirement Resorts in the Okanagan. Valleywood caught our eye as the best match for us. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Always warm smiles!!! Amenities and activities here are superb! Suites are spacious and comfortable. Something interesting to do every day. Yeehaw! 🤠 What an incredible time we had at our Spring Fling Country Thing!

From a mouthwatering country-style rib dinner to the toe-tapping, boot-stomping sounds of Kelly Belenger on guitar 🎸, the night was full of energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Residents and visitors alike showed up in their finest cowboy and cowgirl attire, bringing true country spirit to life! 💃🕺 The dance floor stayed full long after the music “officially” ended—because when the vibe is this good, who wants to stop?

At Valleywood, we prove time and time again that age is just a number… and this video says it all! ❤️

We are so proud to celebrate our very own Master Chef, Indi! 🎉

Chef Indi was invited to represent the Western Division for Regency Resorts at Cogir’s 2026 National Conference in beautiful Quebec City. An incredible honour and a true reflection of his talent, passion, and dedication.

He had the opportunity to showcase his skills alongside other talented chefs, and we couldn’t be prouder to have him representing our team on such a big stage.

Chef Indi, you are our champion, and we’re lucky to have you and your team bringing creativity, heart, and amazing flavours to our community every day. ❤️👨‍🍳

Tonight at Valleywood, our residents celebrated in true St. Patrick’s Day style! 🍀💚

From festive green beer to “over the rainbow” green jello 🌈, the evening was filled with laughter, delicious treats, and plenty of leprechaun glam. Our residents dressed up, shared smiles, and made wonderful memories together.

Around the World, One Month at a Time! ✨🌍

We said “That’s Amore!” as we journeyed to Italy 🇮🇹 without ever leaving home. Our residents enjoyed a five-star Italian cuisine experience, celebrating the rich flavours, culture, music, and charm of this beautiful country. 🍝🍷

From delicious pasta dishes and sweet Italian treats to touches of red, white, and green, our residents embraced the warmth, joy, and passion of Italian culture. Smiles, laughter, and a little Italian flair made the day truly special. ❤️

Our Death by Chocolate event was filled with chocolate fountains, cozy fire pit vibes, delicious hot cocoa, and the beautiful, jazzy sounds of Tricia Dalgleish.

We were thrilled to welcome back the Kelowna Dragon Spirit Tai Chi Association to Valleywood!

Their return visit once again brought such a beautiful sense of balance, strength, and serenity to our community.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to experience their talent and tradition again. Each visit leaves us feeling refreshed, inspired, and more connected.

Yesterday, we celebrated our sweet Lori from housekeeping as she officially retired! 🎉

All of our residents showed up to give her the send-off she deserved. There were tears, hugs, and an overwhelming sense of love as we thanked her for everything she had done since Valleywood opened.

Lori, we will miss you and wish you all the best in your retirement! 💐✨
