As 2024 comes to a close, I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible journey this year has been! Running a business isn’t for the faint of heart. It takes grit. Here are a few of my tips for new business owners:
1. You can’t do it all alone. Find good help early on in your journey. You will go farther when you have a team that moves in the same direction.
2. A great mentor is worth their weight in gold. Find someone who you trust to help guide you and offer insights. Their ability to help you see your blind spots will be essential to growth.
3. In everything you do bring your authentic self and take pride in your work. This is point can be underlined as it is essential to help you stand out and stand the test of time.

Meet Marco Arop. . 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, fresh off winning the 800m at the world championships in Budapest. Dr. Dargie welcomed Marco to in Vancouver over the weekend. We will be sharing more about this exciting time as we join team Marco in preparation for the Paris Olympics and following his journey to winning the Olympics Gold Medal.⁠
