💫 BPPV is a common type of vertigo, where you feel a sudden sensation that you are spinning.

💫 The anatomy of your inner ear is very intricate. BPPV occurs when tiny crystals become dislodged and float into fluid filled semi-circular canals (where they shouldn’t be). When this happens, your brain receives false signals that your head is moving when it isn’t = temporary dizziness + possible nausea/vomiting.

💫 This typically comes on from a change in head position and can be treated by a trained physiotherapist, sometimes in just 1 session!
