Kemptville District Hospital Foundation

The Kemptville District Hospital Foundation was established in 1979.

Led by a dedicated Board of Volunteers, the Foundation has raised over $15 million dollars for new equipment, ER and OR Suite expansion and new clinic space for our outpatient programs.

What an incredible milestone! In its first year of operation, KDH’s CT scanner has performed 6,000 scans, helping ensure patients receive the care they need, close to home.

This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors and the unwavering support of our community. Because of you, vital diagnostic services are available right here at KDH.

A heartfelt thank you as well to our dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Team for the exceptional care they provide every day. 💙

KDH’s new x-ray machine was delivered today!

Installation is scheduled to start this week, and the new x-ray machine is anticipated to be operational later this month or early April.

Thank you to everyone who supported the KDH Foundation’s x-ray matching fundraising campaign, and Ottawa lawyer Gavin Murphy for doubling every donation up to $230,000!

The new x-ray machine - a GE Definium 656 HD Gen 6 - is a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool that will improve patient outcomes and timely access to quality care.

A huge THANK YOU to KS Fitness owner Kim Stapleton and every single participant who hopped on a rowing machine in support of a new mammography machine for KDH!

Through sweat, sore muscles, blisters, determination and plenty of laughs the incredible crew rowed a jaw-dropping 799,102 metres (that’s nearly 800 kilometres!!) 🎉

And they didn’t just row… they raised an amazing $1,480 toward this vital piece of equipment for our hospital.

We are so grateful for this community that rowed strong for local healthcare. 💪💞

You truly went the distance — thank you!

Thank you to the Kemptville Lions Club for their generous donation in support of our Emergency Department Safe Room initiative.

Their contribution will help create a secure and calming space for mental health patients, enhancing safety for both patients and staff.

Tim and Lisa are winners of the Split the Pot Lottery and recently stopped by the Foundation office to pick up their cheque, making it an extra special birthday for Tim. 🎉

They chose to support the KDH Foundation, inspired by Lisa’s surgery at KDH last summer and the excellent care and compassion she received from staff.

A great time was had at the Mt Zion 28 Masonic Lodge Wild Game Dinner last evening! 🦌

Guests enjoyed an exotic array of delicious food, wonderful company, and a truly celebratory atmosphere.

On Sunday, we were privileged to attend the 26th Annual Sweetheart Brunch and were honoured to be among the recipients of this wonderful event presented by the Knights of Columbus 5333 - Kemptville .

Great food, warm company, fabulous entertainment, and a room full of generous hearts made it truly special.
