Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) is a 40-bed acute care hospital located in the rapidly growing Eastern Ontario municipality of North Grenville, 40 minutes south of Ottawa.

Spring cleaning? Keep Hey Day in mind as you tidy up and find treasures!
With Hey Day less than two months away, it’s time to start setting aside donations. The popular fundraising event – a huge garage sale organized by the Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) Auxiliary – is set for Friday, June 5 (4pm to 9pm) and Saturday, June 6 (9am – 1pm) at the North Grenville Municipal Centre arena (285 County Road 44, Kemptville).
Hey Day is considered one of the largest indoor garage sales in eastern Ontario, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the purchase of equipment and services in support of patient care.
Donations (one day only) can be dropped off at the municipal centre on:
• Wednesday, June 3 (11am – 7pm)
Please only donate items that are in good shape and working order. Popular items include: books, toys, clothing, sports equipment, electronics, plants, home décor, jewellery, linens, small pieces of furniture, housewares and accessories.

One year ago today (April 14), KDH celebrated its first CT scan! With 6,000 scans completed in its first year of operation, Diagnostic Imaging staff celebrated the anniversary with cake. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the KDH Foundation and our wonderful community for supporting the CT, and Team KDH for all their hard work!

It’s National Medical Laboratory Week (April 12 to 18) and KDH would like to recognize its wonderful lab partners! The Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) team does a great job supporting our clinical staff and patients. From hematology to microbiology testing - and everything in between - the EORLA team is top-notch!
A big thank you goes out to our dedicated lab team!

April is ‘Be A Donor’ Month! KDH partners with Trillium Gift of Life Network for donation services, which is responsible for delivering and coordinating organ and tissue donation and transplantation services across the province.

KDH’s new x-ray machine was delivered today! Installation is scheduled to start this week, and the new x-ray machine is anticipated to be operational later this month or early April.
Thank you to everyone who supported the KDH Foundation’s x-ray matching fundraising campaign, and Ottawa lawyer Gavin Murphy for doubling every donation up to $230,000!
The new x-ray machine - a GE Definium 656 HD Gen 6 - is a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool that will improve patient outcomes and timely access to quality care.
