📢Last 28hrs of Early Bird! 🐦
WOW! What a response we have had. Spots are filling up, and the event is still over a month away!!!!
✨In case you were wondering why Kristy of H3FIT and I Tricya Maitri Devi Morrice decided to put this mini-retreat together:
💁♀️Just as ALL WOMEN OF ALL TIME, in their mid-decades of life, have been honored to experience (let's be real... TROUNCED BY), stages of menopause (tenderly renamed 'The Pause'), we and all of our female contemporaries are trying to navigate these together while with a semblance of grace.
👭So, what is a better way to (choose your word: manage, face, live through, suffer, endure, experience, navigate, put up with, tolerate, gracefully handle.... you get the picture) than together as a tribe and community??
😠 We both decided we are tired of menopause kicking our ass, so we are going to kick it right back! Therefore, with over 3 decades of knowledge between us, we wanted to serve our tribe and share our knowledge.
🌙 For this mini-retreat, we have put together a collection of strategies that we hope will help you, our tribe, create an action plan while you (choose your own word: conquer, navigate, manage, govern, negotiate, survive, .....embrace) the many phases of the 'PAUSE'.
SIDENOTE:
👉Does this mean ALL MENOPAUSE SYMPTOMS WILL STOP??? Umm, no, sorry.
👉Does this mean we will skip and giggle, play our goddess drum and put on a brave face WHILE enduring the PAUSE? HELL NO!!!
✨What it does mean is:
👉 We will learn how to embrace this part of our evolution (some days begrudgingly ...lol), redirect our thoughts towards the power of what we can accomplish as women in the PAUSE, and take back our lives while in the throws of the Pause's many 'gifts'😉 (again... you may have a different word for it...😁).
👉We will accumulate ways to ease the impact of many, if not all, of the symptoms.
🫶 PLUS, we will NOT FEEL ALONE anymore while basking in the heat of hot flashes, riding the wave of emotional tsunamis, and attempting to SHHHHHH that damn inner-critic whenever we look in the mirror (SHUT UP WOMAN!!!!).
VOILA, that is why we have created the first 'EMBRACE THE PAUSE' mini-retreat.
🙏 Kristy and I are looking forward to seeing you and the rest of your tribe on August 23rd.

A Call for Truth in Honour: PTSD Awareness Month
As organizations take time this PTSD Awareness Month to honour First Responders who have died by su***de, it is essential that we also acknowledge why some of these lives were lost. Many of these deaths were not random or isolated. They were the result of cumulative psychological injuries, sustained through repeated exposure to trauma, often manifesting as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
To honour their memory with integrity, we must speak the full truth: PTSD was a contributing factor in many of these losses. And where PTSD exists, we must also confront the environments that allowed it to deepen unrecognized or unsupported. The institutional factors of organizational betrayal and abandonment must be named. Because we cannot speak of loss without also acknowledging the pain and neglect that preceded it.
Creating polished tributes without naming the realities behind the uniform may look respectful, but it risks being simply performative. When the truth is omitted, the very people we claim to honour are reduced to optics that are used for reports, accolades, and awards, without real accountability or change. True remembrance demands more.
While some may focus on highlight reels and public-facing campaigns, I’ll stand with the ones in the margins. The injured, the survivors, the voices still shaking but speaking anyway. I’ll honour them with truth. Because healing begins with being seen, heard, and understood. Not because they earned it, but because they deserve it.

Our story began through the lens of asana (postures), then evolved to deeper self-teachings and studies of meditation. With the gifts of husband, children & travel, deeper studies of energy & self-care.
With time and the universe speaking, Tricya discovered and was honored to study a holistic and traditional form of yoga called Akhanda Yoga, founded by Himalayan Yoga Master Yogrishi Vishvketu and under the supportive guidance of Gayatri (Gayle Poapst) and Karuna Mayi (Gwen Anderson).
Multiple trainings and decades of practice later she has landed here…ready to coax, guide and support you on a journey to healing, self-care and re-balance.)
You've heard of the plethora of benefits that yoga has to offer; Not only builds strength, mobility and flexibility but is also known to relieve side-effects of anxiety & depression, sleep issues, stress, arthritis, fibromyalgia, auto-immune issues, PTSD and much more.
