To all our patients
The Ontario Government has announced the expiration of masking requirements in certain in-door settings, including health care settings, and the expiration of COVID-19 directives related to the health sector as of June 11, 2022, 12:00 am. As a result of this action taken by the Ontario Government, mandatory masking in most health care setting as well as active screening of patients will no longer be required following June 11, 2022.
Although these changes are coming into effect, it is important to note that the clinic continues to implement policies to ensure safety.
Chiropractors, staff and patients will be required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and will not be able to attend the clinic if they have COVID-19 symptoms or live with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Patients attending the clinic for treatment, may choose to remain masked while in the clinic and may request that their Chiropractor be masked while they receive their treatment. We place a great importance and emphasis on the fact that our clinic doctors and staff respect the choices of any individual inside our office to remain masked. We will continue to use a patient-centered approach, appropriate and ongoing risk assessments, respectful communication and professional judgment to guide decisions related to the use of personal protective equipment and other health and safety protocols.

On Monday March 21st, 2022, the masks mandates in most indoor settings in the province will be removed. This mandate will remain in place in some places, including health care settings. In an effort to protect our most vulnerable and high-risk patients, here at the Kemptville Chiropractic Clinic, we will continue to ask our patients to self-screen upon entering our building and we will ask that you continue to wear a mask during your appointments.
