The Lighthouse - Le Phare offers in-person counselling and psychotherapy in Kemptville, ON, as well as virtual services to clients across Ontario.

We are pleased to share that our clinicians Michael and Paul are both currently accepting new clients.

Michael brings experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, neurodiversity, and family conflict. He tailors therapy to each unique individual, drawing from CBT, Family Systems, ABA, IFS, Integrative, and Relational approaches while working with individuals, couples, and families.

Clients appreciate Michael’s warm, collaborative style and the safe, non-judgmental space he creates for exploration and growth.

Paul supports individuals and couples working through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family conflict, grief, and major life transitions. Using Narrative Therapy, Humanistic approaches, CBT, and MBTI-informed insights, he helps clients build self-awareness and navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.

Clients value Paul’s grounded, reflective presence and his ability to help them reconnect with their inner compass.

We have a new group on offer:

An all new book club for children 5-8 years who are struggling with anxiety, hosted by Marissa Burliuk, MSW, RSW!

The first one will take place on August 16 from 9:00am to 11:00am and will be centered on reading and learning from picture books on how to cope with anxiety.

The Art Inside Me, an eight-week art therapy group facilitated by one of our amazing team members, Melanie Herweyer!

This group has many benefits to offer at a reduced rate from 1-on-1 therapy. Get to know new parts of your Self, support your personal growth, and connect with other women.

The Art Inside Me will include visual arts interventions along with opportunities for written reflection and sharing within the group.
