What a fantastic Monday!
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have presented to the amazing Education Assistants at the Kenora Catholic District School Board today. It was such a pleasure to share insights on metabolism and how it’s at the core of so many aspects of our health, from weight management to energy levels and even our mood. Understanding how our bodies process and utilize energy is key when we talk about wellness, and I hope today’s discussion inspired some new perspectives on how we can support our metabolic health.
A huge thank you to Andrea Batters and the team at KCDSB for inviting me as a speaker. —your energy and engagement made this event truly enjoyable. 🙏 I also want to express my gratitude for the beautiful tea mug I received as a presenter gift—what a lovely surprise! 🫖
In addition to today’s event, I’m also celebrating a great piece of news from my colleague, Jessica Carfagnini from Thunder Bay. She contributed to a Canadian Health Workforce Network article on team-based primary care. Several NDs, including Jessica, were asked to share insights on the scope, training, and integrative approach of naturopathic doctors in primary care settings. It’s incredible to see our profession being recognized and valued in these essential conversations. 🙌
Grateful for days like this where I can share knowledge, collaborate with colleagues, and see the positive impact of naturopathic medicine on the greater healthcare system. 🌱💡
Swipe to see the article and the incredible work Jessica and other NDs are contributing to. 📖
