Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Clinical Pearls Conference hosted by Exceptional ND in Toronto, and it was an incredible experience.
Spending a full day in a room with colleagues, mentors, and educators, many of whom have been practicing for decades, was both inspiring and humbling. Hearing clinicians share their real-world experience, clinical reasoning, and the way they represent our profession reminded me how much depth and integrity exists in naturopathic medicine.
The breadth of topics was remarkable, ranging from concussion and persistent post-concussion symptoms, prostate cancer case management, mental health care, thyroid health in women, and autoimmune treatment strategies, to fasting and longevity, cardiovascular herbs, probiotics and the gut-skin connection, osteoarthritis and mistletoe therapy, and emerging approaches in bioenergetics and clinical practice.
It was a powerful reminder that our profession continues to grow, evolve, and refine itself through curiosity, mentorship, and the willingness to share clinical experience openly.
Grateful for the opportunity to learn, reflect, and be part of a community of practitioners who care deeply about their patients and about advancing the field.
