Take Charge of Your Health: Free Support Workshops for You and Your Family.

Living with a long-term health condition—like pain, diabetes, or the aftermath of a cancer diagnosis—can feel like a full-time job. But you don't have to manage it alone.

NorWest Community Health Centres is inviting you to join a supportive community of people right here in Northwestern Ontario who are learning to live better and feel more in control of their health.

Find the Right Workshop for You:
Our 6-week sessions are designed to give you a "toolkit" of practical skills for daily life:

- Chronic Disease: General tools for managing any long-term condition.
- Diabetes: Practical tips for healthy eating, monitoring, and foot care.
- Chronic Pain: Specialized techniques for pacing yourself and managing fatigue.
- Cancer (Thriving & Surviving): A supportive space for survivors and caregivers to regain their energy and confidence.

Why Join Us?
- It’s 100% Free: These workshops are fully funded by Ontario Health.
- No Doctor’s Note Needed: You can sign yourself up today—no referral required.
- Support for Your Journey: Every participant who finishes the 6-week series receives a $25.00 Grocery Gift Card and a free reference book to keep.
- Your Choice: Join us in-person at a local community hub or participate from the comfort of your own home virtually via Zoom.

Ready to Get Started?
Managing your health is easier when you have a plan and a team behind you. Come learn how to set goals that actually work for your life.

That averages to roughly 70 appointments per week that could be going to someone in need.

If you know you cannot make your appointment, please remember to call our separate cancellations line at (807) 468-6321 extension 4.

The more notice you give us, the more time we have to give that appointment to someone who could use it.
