Holiday Schedule is up and ready for booking! I will be adding the virtual options Saturday, so hold tight if that is what you’re looking for 🙏🏻

Plan some down time, but find some you time too. We will require a minimum of 6 students to go ahead with each class, (the night before for morning classes, and by 2pm for evening classes), so please sign-up to avoid your class being cancelled!

My Yoga Space is permanently closing its doors.
To keep a long story short - Covid made me do it.
Change is a constant in life and so it must be🙏🏻
For those of you with mats at the studio, I will be available at the studio tomorrow 1-3 pm for you to collect it. If this doesn’t work for you , contact me with alternatives.
For those of you that practice with me (Beth), I have already reached out to you privately by email. For those of you that practice with Karen or Joy, you can reach out to them for any reason regarding the future of practicing with them. For those of you that practiced with Betty, reach out to her.
If you don’t have their contact info, message me.
I am not able to compensate any of you monetarily for unused punchcards, as the business functioned in an essentially non profit fashion, after overhead and teachers were paid, so I am very sorry for your loss in this way.
I will be offering virtual classes and when the time comes I have graciously been offered, purely from the heart of a yogi who truly practices yoga in a non competitve and collective fashion, a beautiful place to meet and practice together that will allow for lots of physical distancing and smaller classes without the looming monthly pressure of rental fees in these circumstances that make owning a small business very difficult - more on this in the weeks ahead. This will be a difficult loss for us all and many of you have practiced at the studio longer than I have and my heart goes out to you as you lose your sacred space to practice yoga in Kentville.
We have all experienced some kind of grieving, some kind of loss during this unprecedented time and we must allow ourselves to mourn in whatever way we need to in order to release and to see the wisdom inherent in change and challenges- this is no different.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for info regarding the studio, your things, or the whereabouts of any of the teachers and where they might be offering.

Namaste 🙏🏻

I’ve been moving things around, cleaning , painting and doing a bit of renovating to make more room for some of our growing classes at the studio and use spaces more efficiently.
I still have to put all the cleaned covers back on the bolsters ( so hard to do!) but things are coming together nicely.
I was in doing yoga this evening at the studio, playing an older playlist and I thought of you all and missed you so much. What is yoga without sharing? For me, it is now a bit sad. I can’t wait til we can all meet again- I definitely need you all to complete my practice now.
All my love and wishes for health😘😘🙏🏻

We are in the midst of a very precarious time where our choices are important for ourselves and just as important to others and other things ( weren’t they always?)
The studio will remain closed until further notice as we all pay attention to the ebb and flow of what is happening around us and in far off lands.
I know that a lot of you must be missing yoga and needing to practice immensely.
I will continue to make and post videos of various styles of yoga in the days ahead and remember to practice on your own or with somebody on line.
🌟Remember to breathe.

I will continue to practice a few minutes of pranayama ( breathing practice) at noon, everyday, and perhaps you’d like to stop what you’re doing for a few minutes to join me. This is an unplugged practice so we just stop to hear and focus on our breathing.

Amidst all of this great change , confusion, uncertainty and isolation I think it is very important to remember that LIFE IS STILL VERY BEAUTIFUL and PRECIOUS. On this first day of spring ( EQUINOX) take the time to notice spring happening around you, everywhere, even if it is simply the longer , milder , brighter days. Be curious. Plant your seeds, smell the air, breathe in the blessing of being here.
Now more than ever, we need our presence of mind, our compassionate hearts and resilient spirits.
Continue to practice self isolation. This is VERY important at this time.
Eat well. Drink lots of water. Sleep. Exercise. Follow a daily schedule of living. Enjoy the simple and amazing world around you as it begins to wake up. Point it out to others.
Let’s Wake Up! 🙏🏻💕

Big Breath in, through your nose, hear it, feel it, get it to the bottom of your belly.
STOP
Slowly begin your exhale, also out your nose. Hear it, feel it, let it all run out.
STOP.
Begin Again Beauties.

Videos being worked on today😘🥰🙏🏻

Working on a Yin yoga practice today to share with you all here. It will be coming soon🙏🏻
Happy St. Patrick’s Day💕

Here is our Spring Schedule.
I made some last minute decisions.

1) just one ( Morning Energizer w/Beth )6-7am class to begin on Monday. If they are well attended and you want more, we can add them😊
2) our new teacher Lynda’s class in Tuesday 12-1pm slot and Joy’s Chair moves to Wed ( 9-10am)
3) Beginner Series (8 week session) begins in April.

A class description of Lynda’s ‘divine yin’ and Beth’s ‘beginner series’ is being organized and is coming shortly.

At this point, everything is very tentative in terms of when this schedule will begin.
I would LOVE to say that we can just go ahead and start March 23rd but we’ll all just have to wait and see what is being mandated and reported by the end of this coming week.
A few of us are going to make some yoga videos of a few of our most favoured classes for you ( which we are very excited about making🥰) and you will all have access to those no matter what we have to decide going forward.
Of course, punchcard expiry extension dates will have to be in effect and we can adjust those accordingly as we go along.
Namaste 🙏🏻

Hi there everybody! I hope you are well and enjoying this beautiful sunshine and this down time as we take care to do our part in lessening the spread of this recent virus. There is so much to do at the studio this week as I move some things around, take some things apart, wash everything, do some spring cleaning and just generally freshen things up. I’m figuring out what we might need to do to go forward as a business during this time, in terms of hand washing, keeping the place as sanitary as possible and relying on each other’s honesty in terms of waiting for 2 weeks upon arrival home if you have travelled abroad before coming to the studio.
And of course, staying away from the public if you are feeling unwell - clients and teachers alike.
If anybody has seen hand sanitizer anywhere , tell me where! I can’t find any, anywhere, for the studio.
Our new schedule will be coming out later today here and on our website, so look for that!
A beginner series starting, some 6-7am classes have been added ( upon request) and we have a new teacher with some unique knowledge and specialties that some of you might enjoy ( replacing Joy’s 12-1pm yin on Tuesday)

Apart from these additions and slight changes, all your classes that you enjoy with us are remaining.
Just a gentle reminder that purchasing a punchcard now with our special offer will help us stay afloat as a business until we get through this flu season and sail into spring / summer climates to share yoga together.
Please take care of yourselves and others and enjoy this wonderful place we call home.🙏🏻

Over the next few months I will offer different Pop Up classes to you all to get a taste of my teaching style in this lovely studio. I will slowly fill up spaces in the schedule and hopefully offer something that interests you at the right time!
This week I am beginning with a Yin Yoga class 5-6 pm on Tuesday.
Next week I am adding a Beginner Yoga class 9-10 am Thursday...and so on.
All Pop Ups will be $10/ class
