Spring time ... just finished a weekend of healing with a very talented body worker and a person who gives "divine messages from the Ancestors" ... now preparing for ceremony next week. Should be amazing. So thankful and great full for the support from the LSIBand and the Friendship Centre. Providing these self-care & wellness gatherings for the community.
One step atta time in the healing process after all the trauma our people have been exposed to.
Celebrating the goodness we have, our culture, traditions and beliefs ... we're still here, becoming stronger. In Love n Light

I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.

Sat 9:00 - 6:00 appointments - 1 hr sessions
Talking Circles re Traditional Medicine, Spirituality, or ???
Sat. eve 7:00 - 9:00 Drumming, Singing, Dancing ...
Sunday 9:00 - 3:00 appointments - 1 hr sessions
* A block of rooms have been reserved at discounted rate
* daycare, child care will be provided during sessions
* food, snacks, tea, coffee, water on site

It's been a pretty busy year so far ... it's all good! Healing the Body via massage, deep tissue, body work etc ... the Mind via one on one counselling, group discussions, activities, card readings + messages from the Ancestors, and the Heart ... groups supporting one another with positive energy & Spirit ... the power of prayer, kwilstn and medicine ...
I've also been doing more work with non native people, re Spirituality, self care as well as cleansing w medicine water & smudge ... it's all goodo ...
Still writing proposals to raise funds to do another "Healing Gathering" this fall ... Prayers ...

way' peoples, it's been awhile ... but still moving forward with my work ... partnering with different groups and providing opportunities for healing and self care.

Some of the gatherings are specific to this community, where I live ... but am always searching for funding to open the door to others who may be interested.
Am curious as to what others would pay for these events?? Let me know .... so I can see what is feasible ... 🙏🦅🌺
