I consider the use of these tests as vital to disease prevention as well as a revolution in health and wellness education; assisting the lay person and healthcare professionals alike in addressing the dysfunction that precedes pathology. Addressing the dysfunction that precedes pathology (root cause of disease) is at the forefront of 21st century medicine and self healthcare. Utilizing elements of the body's feedback systems (blood, urine and saliva) and collecting data through the use of precision equipment we can identify imbalances that exist within the body's homeostatic control mechanisms. Left uncorrected, a mechanism that is stuck impedes one's adaptive capacity preventing the body's return to balance. There is no dis-ease of the body that can exist without one of the body's homeostatic control mechanisms being out of whack. Modifying dietary intake to better suite an individual's metabolic tendency, supplementation, exercise, energy work, body-mind awareness and coaching are useful tools in preventative self-healthcare.
