Podcast interviewer, Joe Cramond, recently chatted to Australian TRE® Trainer, Richmond Heath, on the ‘Find Your Voice’ podcast.

A few key points that Joe highlights from this chat:
• Shaking is a natural recovery reflex
• Panic tremors are the body returning to safety
• TRE® boosts calm, clarity, and focus
• Athletes use tremoring for faster recovery
• Anyone can learn this

The science is simple. The practice is simple. The effect is strong.

This is an interesting 18-minute discussion which you can catch at the following link:

‘If in doubt, shake’. These are tense times. Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®) is a great tool for relieving stress and anxiety.

TRE is actually you, healing you. It's very easy to learn and easy to practice. The goal of TRE is to set up a natural shaking mechanism in the body. When you're tremoring, the body begins to free itself from old stories.

When we've been overwhelmed, our bodies tend to go into defensive patterns. We contract or disappear from our body.

The goal of TRE is to wake up our sense of our body again, using shaking as a way of generating new feelings and releasing tension patterns.

Many people report feeling more connected and present after letting natural tremors release tension in the body.

I have resources and article to inspire you here: www.trecollege.com

Which of the states shown in this picture are most familiar to you? Identify where you spend much of your day. TRE (tension release exercises) can assist in downregulating the nervous system in order to live a healthier life and stay within the Window of tolerance. Contact TRE in East Kootenays to find out more about using a regular TRE practice -it's like gym for your nervous system.

Pulsation is part of life:. It is observable in 'simple' one-celled organisms, like the amoeba, as well as all the more complex, multicellular forms of life, including humans.
A quote from David Berceli mentions pulsation in relation to the TRE method :
“I try to get people to accept we are a living pulsating organism, like animals, we pulsate with aliveness, & all of those contractions inhibit those pulsations, this pulsation, the more we can enliven it, the more our sensory receptors are stimulated towards aliveness….it means aliveness in every emotional state, it also means heartbreak & sadness, but if it has more capacity to pulsate it allows us negotiate these experiences without dissociating or numbing down”
