In 2021, the Health Centre Board was informed that the roof of the Clinic was in need of a major overhaul. The estimated cost to complete repairs to the roof was $150,000. Upon further investigation into the current structure addition repairs were also required. In early 2022 the KDHC Board, together with the establishing municipalities decided it would be a better option to construct a new facility. Since that time we have been busy raising funds, and making plans for the construction.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the Community Committee/Board meeting last night.
We had 14 different boards give presentations about their respective organizations. It was very informative and amazing to see how many things are happening in our small communities.
