2025 Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce COMMUNITY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD NOMINEES ANNOUNCED!
Congratulations to everyone who was nominated for a Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement Award and thank you to all those who submitted nominations. We received an incredible 95 nominations from the community!
The three finalist nominees in 15 award categories have been confirmed, and are listed below. Submissions in each category will be judged by Chambers of Commerce from across southern Ontario, and the awards will be presented at the Chamber Awards Gala, a ticketed event, on October 9, 2025 at Ainsdale Golf Course.

7 GEN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD - Presented to an individual, business or organization that is guided by a sense of responsibility and respect for the environment, which is manifested through initiatives designed to preserve, conserve or improve the local environment.

BRUCE POWER CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD - Presented to an area resident who has demonstrated their strong citizenship with outstanding contributions to community service, and has substantially enhanced the well being of its citizens.

BRUCE TELECOM YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR AWARD - Presented to an individual, under the age of 35, who owns a business, has shown excellent leadership qualities, innovation in business skills, proactive employee and customer relations and community leadership.

ENBRIDGE QUALITY OF LIFE AWARD - Presented to a business, not for profit, or community organization for its outstanding contribution to the quality of life for those in our community.

JENNIFER COOK & ASSOCIATES, THE COOPERATORS WOMAN OF DISTINCTION AWARD – Presented to a local woman, who through her initiative, ability and efforts has made an exemplary achievement in her field and is an outstanding role model, because of her goals and the way she has achieved those goals.

KINCARDINE & DISTRICT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD - Presented to a business in operation for two or more years, that exhibits excellence in business growth, customer service and community leadership.

LAKESIDE DOWNTOWN KINCARDINE AMBASSADOR AWARD - In honour of former Downtown Development Manager Rick Clarke, this award is presented to an individual, organization or business that has made an exceptional contribution to Lakeside Downtown Kincardine, relating to community involvement, access and safety, promotion of assets, preserving and enhancing downtown character, all while inspiring economic vitality.

LAW OFFICES OF ANDREA CLARKE DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION AWARD - Presented to an individual, business, group or organization that has demonstrated leadership in diversity, equity and inclusion within our community.

NPX GOOD NEIGHBOUR AWARD - Presented to an individual whose actions help to build connections within our community, and whose dedication to the betterment of our community is notable and ongoing.

SUPERHEAT BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR - Presented to an individual in an executive position who exemplifies excellent leadership qualities, innovative business skills, proactive employee and customer relations and community leadership.

YOUTH CITIZENSHIP AWARD, SPONSORED BY COUNCILLORS BLACKWELL, HINCHBERGER & PRENGER – Presented to a youth (under 18) who has made a positive impact within their family, neighbourhood, school or community, has demonstrated perseverance while overcoming adversity or has otherwise embodies qualities such as bravery, leadership and care for others.
