Community Living Kincardine and District An Inclusive Caring Community, where all people belong and have equal opportunity to participate.

Community Living Kincardine & District (CLKD) is a not for profit organization providing support to people in Kincardine, and the townships of Kincardine, Huron and Bruce. Using a Person Centred approach supports are developed which are directed by the person or family to assist the person who has a developmental disability to participate in community life.

Ed Mahony will be returning this fall to lead another session of his highly valued Positive Educational Advocacy Workshop!

This two-part workshop is designed to provide parents with practical tools and knowledge to confidently navigate the Ontario school system and effectively advocate for their child’s educational needs.

Ed’s warm, approachable style and use of real-life examples make these sessions not only informative but also engaging and relatable.

Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help at the 17th Annual CLKD Charity Golf Classic ⛳.

From registration and gr***de sales, to photography, putting contest and silent auction, we couldn't have done this without you! Together we raised over $21,000 to enhance our programming to support those with developmental disabilities and all people over 55!

Inspiring Possibilities

Community Living Kincardine & District (CLKD) has been inspiring possibilities for individuals with developmental disabilities since 1963. We believe that all members of our community deserve to have the same rights, choices and opportunities to live meaningful and connected lives.

CLKD serves individuals of all ages, from newborn infants to aging seniors. Our person-centred practices ensure that supports and services are tailored to best meet each individual’s strengths, needs and goals. Whether it is starting their first job, going out for coffee with a friend, using new technologies to communicate or moving into a supported apartment, CLKD members are able to live full lives, achieve their dreams and discover their full potential.
