Maureen is in her retirement era! 🎉

After 34 years of glory, our dear friend and colleague Maureen is leaving our front desk. She has been a fixture of our office ..through thick or thin..through work and play..through two generations of ownership

She is always dependable and an amazing support staff to our doctors. We also know that we have tons of patients who remember her fondly and will miss seeing her when they stop in.

She will be absolutely livid that I'm posting this (she will know who it is, but it's Dr. Rebecca for those who don't know!) - but thank you from the bottom of our little hearts for everything, words can't even express the gratitude. We will miss you and hope to see you often!

Dr. Chippior was out of the office on business this week - in Costa Rica!

She was honoured to be chosen as one of 20 optometrists from across the country who work alongside . Costa Rica is home to one of their manufacturing facilities, where she was able to see first hand how contact lenses are made. She also learned about their new product MyDay Energys which helps alleviate symptoms of digital eye strain. But above all else the group learned about CooperVision’s sustainability efforts and net plastic neutrality program (CooperVision has already removed the equivalent of 500 million water bottles from the oceans).

On the fun side of things Dr. Chippior also learned how coffee is produced and visited Arenal volcano!

Thanks again to Horace (our rep) and CooperVision for the amazing experience.
