I just finished re-reading “To Speak for the Trees” by Diana Beresford-Kroeger. This is such a beautifully written and inspiring account of the interconnectedness of all things, and of the wisdom to be gained if we could just look beyond our biases and extend our perception of what’s true or “scientific” to include the knowledge passed down through generations of healers and knowledge-keepers. This book, To Speak for the Trees, is available for loan in our lending library or, if you’re more of an audio learner, my good friend and colleague Sarah Knight interviewed Diana about her book on her Possibilities Podcast. Sarah’s review of the book is also written as a blogpost on our website.
And now, I’ve just learned that Diana will be speaking in Westport tomorrow! Maybe I’ll see you there. (Dr. Sonya.)
