Honestly, Tuesday afternoon is elite pub-crawl energy! Residents decided on an afternoon getaway to a local pub, Portsmouth Tavern! Each month, one of our managers take turns joining our residents on their pub crawls!

“I can’t move! Where can I host Christmas dinner without my house?” Kingsbridge has a beautiful fully equipped kitchen/activity room that many residents use on a daily basis for either our baking clubs, or to host any special family dinner in general.

“I’m not ready to move to a retirement community. I don’t want to lose my independence”. We believe resident Bonnie would say she’s not only kept her independence but she’s also gained a great party room in her home she’s not lived at for the past two years! New traditions have been created by hosting her annual friends Christmas Party here at Kingsbridge in our activity room!

What a turnout for Rotary Club of Kingston today! We have butter chicken and rice, pork tenderloin, and a side of veggies on the menu!

Kingsbridge hosts a monthly Resident General meeting here in our movie theatre. All residents are welcome to attend while each manager takes turns discussing present and future topics per department.

Chad Rowe, our Executive Director, reminded everyone about resident surveys, fraud prevention and holidays event dates.

Today, our Director of Care Harbinder discussed topics regarding hand sanitizing, holiday get togethers, and in-house doctor appointments. Marketing discussed the upcoming special guest Willow, a local goat visiting in December and a few volunteers popping in to assist with Christmas gift wrapping.

Our Lifestyle Manager Ashlee advised us of a local Barber from ‘Hair of the Dog’ will be giving old fashion beard shaving, and haircuts at the end of November.
